"Riu Ventura was a great hotel, with friendly staff and clean resort in general. The food was good as well and they offered a variety at dinner. I would have liked additional locations for lunch outdoors and more dessert places would have been great. We traveled with our 3 kids and would have liked a bit more entertainment at night, but I understand the hotel is new and still working on booking acts. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would recommend this hotel. "

"We stayed at GR Solaris Cancun with our 3-year-old and had a great time overall. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, especially when we requested a lower floor room. The pools and beach were clean and perfect for families. Food was decent but could use more variety, especially for longer stays. The entertainment team was fun and kept kids engaged. Although, Baby Park needs an upgrade for its gates most toddlers can easily escape the area. Also, they could add more games for the kids to do. Overall, a good family resort and worth the price. Would recommend for families with young children."

"Poolside service excellent , from towel service, snacks & drinks. Bartenders quickly remembered our names & knew our favorite drinks. Capi, Jesus , Eduardo& Moy greeted us always with a smile & went beyond our expectations. Erica greeted us for breakfast always with a smaile. Housekeeping staff also were very friendly. Great food & variety & many activities from dancing to lottery! We will be back & will highly recommend Hyatt Vivid. Thank you all making this memorable vacation. Maria & Gama"

"We really enjoyed our stay! Room was clean and a good size. Really enjoyed the pool area and how it is right on the beach. Our toilet was leaking the first night we arrived, however the hotel staff was very responsive and kind and helped switch our room right away. Overall, our whole family enjoyed it. "

"I had a good time overall, and the staff were good. However, I had a very negative experience with the tour agency at the reception. The manager from Caribe Tours Riviera Maya Cancún sold me six activities, with an average cost of around $150 each. While I really enjoyed some of them, the last two were very disappointing. For the first one, I was placed in a tour that was only conducted in Spanish, even though I do not speak the language. I raised this issue, but nothing was done to resolve it. For the second activity, he cancelled my booking without asking me and issued a receipt without my consent. When I explained that I couldn’t attend on my last day, he changed my booking to different activities that were cheaper than what I originally paid for. When I tried to call and discuss the issue, he shouted at me and hung up the phone."

"We stayed in an oceanview suite April 7-13, 2026 & had a wonderful time. Pros: The property is very clean & staff were always accomodating & cheerful. Pools were wonderful & beach area is very nice. The evening music in the lobby bar was always great. We really enjoyed LaLuce (Italian) & Noriku (Asian) & the Vela buffet/restaurants - food & service were excellent. Maxal (Mexican) & Flama (Steakhouse) were disappointing in comparison. Cons: There was a lot of construction noise that got to be irritating. They need more bathrooms around the pool area. The evening entertainment was not great - with the exception of the "Circus" night - that was great!"
