Farnsfield Hotels

"I stayed here a couple of years and then moved areas so was delighted to find it again recently , the rooms are amazing everything you need and the breakfast was just as perfect as I remember, the owner Jenny remembered me from 2 years ago loved it so much booked again for next week - lovely relaxing environment with a homely feel ( just what you need when you travel so much with work )"

"Cute lodge with friendly staff! Short walk to Sherwood Forest."

"As always this hotel is one of the best around. Lovely clean rooms, staff are amazing and make you feel welcome as soon as you arrive. Plenty of parking and all round just a great hotel. Would highly recommend and will always book this hotel if possible through work. Thanks again for a great stay Steven."

"Room was clean, bed was comfy, parking was easy and checking in was simple. Would happily stay again."

"Beautiful hotel and grounds"

"Sarah was amazing and so helpful! The chef went above and beyond to prepare a dinner for us late in the evening and his breakfast was delicious!"

"Stayed a few times. It’s in need of a touch up but worth the money. The restaurant is really good, with staff doing a great job. Mostly compliments to the stand in manager and the chef."

"Very nice stay, thank you."

"Perfect hotel for my one night stay, very clean and well presented"

"Really lovely quiet location exactly what I needed Will definitely stay again "

"Great place lovely staff"

"New room, clean and excellent breakfast"

"Beautiful old house, wonderful, friendly hosts. Big comfortable rooms, fantastic breakfasts."

"Great staff, good parking, spacious room, needs a refresh of refurb as bit dated and tired but served the purpose."

"Room service from the main restaurant available. Room was pretty quiet overnight, bed was firm which was our preference"

"The only good thing about the property was the location. The room was clean, but very uncomfortable with low beds, no remote for the TV , a broken chair, and the slow stream of shower water was far too hot. There were none of the luxuries advertised, nor was the basement set up to eat/drink as advertised. Common areas were not clean or well maintained. The owners are clearly trying to sell the property."

"Wry friendly staff, lovely room great location"

"We stayed on a brilliantly priced deal in a huge room. The building is wonderfully historic and all of the history is available to read and see if you are interested. Some bits need tlc but everything was working OK and the beds are comfortable."

"Excellent location, in the midst of a few bars and 10 minutes walk from the train station. Room was clean with a very powerful shower. Bed was really comfortable with a good size TV on the wall with plenty of channels. We didn’t have breakfast but heard people talking in the loft saying it was really nice with lots of choice."

"Big spacious rooms with enough room for a family of 4 in a room with 3 beds. Very clean and tidy and updated hotel. Bar on site was excellent, food was great...can get busy so book a table if you can."
