Fantastic, quiet apartment with beautiful sea views
Our stay in Candelaria's apartment was brilliant. The space was clean and nicely arranged, with a great utility space and wonderful, large outdoor terrace. In a very quiet apartment building. With panoramic views of the sea and beach, as well as looking down on the busy yet quiet and peaceful promenade below. Gran Tarajal has been great for snorkeling as well as being away from the tourist hotspots. A very down to earth town with lots of cafes and restaurants. The perfect location for visiting the whole island - one hour from the north of the island and 40 minutes from the south, it ticked every box for us. We will definitely be back to stay in this apartment if we can!

Fabulous Apartment in a great Location!
We had a fantastic week in this lovely apartment. When we arrived it had been cleaned to a high standard and is well equipped with everything you need for your stay. The terrace is large with plenty of room for the 2 comfy loungers and a table with two chairs. It also has an electric awning and a handy shower to cool you off when the sun is beating down. The apartment is situated right on the beach front in the heart of this small Spanish resort. There are 2 large supermarkets within 5 minutes walking distance and several restaurants and bars very close by. Joaquin and Candelaria are very easy to communicate with and we were met by Joaquin who showed us around the apartment and explained how to work things. We can highly recommend this property and hope to return next year.

So pleased with our choice
Just got back from a short break in Fuerteventura after making a last minute decision to find a little winter sun. After scanning through available accommodation for the week 8th - 15th November we decided to book this apartment in Gran Tarajal. Always a gamble when choosing somewhere to stay but how pleased we were with our choice. The apartment is large, well equipped and spotless. Everything needed for a great stay is to hand. The kitchen is of a great standard with quality appliances and we made great use of the hob, oven and fridge freezer cooking breakfast and dinner on most days. For me it is the small touches that make all the difference and show that the owners have gone the extra mile to make their property stand out... a complimentary bottle of wine, a box of chocolates, lovely cheese in the fridge, a new fresh dishcloth and scourer in the sink area. No need to pop out and buy the essentials at a local supermarket as soon as you arrive. (but rest assured it is so easy to stock up on food and drink at the two main supermarkets, EuroSpa and Hyperlink, both are literally 4 minutes walk away and are a joy to wander round). The location of the apartment couldn't be bettered, with a panoramic view across the bay / beach from the stunning balcony ; perfect for watching the world go by whilst enjoying a cold beer. The balcony enjoys the sun from early morning til late afternoon AND if you get too hot there is a fabulous remote controlled electric sun blind. In the utility area off the balcony we found a useful shopping trolley (so useful for trundling back from the supermarket with all our provisions) and folding beach chairs & sun parasols which we admit we took to the beach with us on several occasions). We had a hire car for the week and explored many of the towns north and south of Gran Tarajal and we quickly realised how glad we were with our choice of location. Gran Tarajal is a proper, authentic town with a great feel about it. Many other towns are purely there for tourists with no character or ambience and far less choice of quality bars, restaurants and shops. Interestingly the prices in the two main supermarkets in Gran Tarajal are substantially lower for general holiday provisions like, beer, soft drinks, eggs, bread, cerals etc than in the tourist supermarkets in places like Costa Calma. We came up with wine at around €2 a bottle, cans of beer for 23 cents. In conclusion I would strongly recommend this property.

Fabulous apartment
The property is well maintained and as described. The situation is perfect, overlooking the beach, terrace is impressive and you get the sun early till late. Supermarket a 5 minute walk away with everything you could possibly need. Kitchen is well set out and we cooked dinner on the evening of the storm (it wasn’t a night to venture out) with no problem. All the comforts you need in a home from home. One suggestion however would be to add another 2 seater sofa as there is only one and it’s a bit cramped sharing. Utility room with a washer and a drier, perfect set up. Very comfortable bed and all amenities literally on your doorstep. Plenty of bars/restaurants to suit all tastes within a minute of your front door. Gran Tarajal is a very Spanish town and the promenade came alive at night with locals and their families enjoying the evening. It was a very friendly place and a joy to be in. I would recommend this listing if you want a quieter version of corralejo or Caleta de Fuste not much English spoken but be got by. No souvenir shops or loud bars with live music blasting out till late which was really lovely. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and were sad to leave. Would I return, unfortunately no but only for the reason that the air con does not extend to the bedroom and I spent a very uncomfortable 10 night trying to sleep, there is only a unit In The main living room, also the international tv mentioned only had one English speaking channel so that kinda spoiled our quiet night in or when we returned from Dinner to sit down and relax. The host was extremely attentive and lovely to deal with. Just falls short of the 5 stars.

Apartment as photos, very large firm comfy bed. And secluded sun terrace.
We loved gran tarajal. It is a very quiet non touristy friendly town. Lovely safe sandy beach which is really used by the locals. Good selection of restaurants, and local shops. We would holiday there again.

Ideal location for a relaxing getaway
We loved our time in Fuerteventura and staying in Gran Tarajal was a great decision. The town itself is less "touristy" than other places on the island - but is a short drive away from some great beaches. We stayed in Gran Tarajal for 8 nights and were happy to spend most of our time relaxing on the balcony, walking on the beach, visiting coffee shops/eating out, and walking in the hills. It was a perfect honeymoon location as we wanted to really chill out. The flat itself had everything we needed. It was clean, well equipped and with great views. We loved the balcony and the peacefulness of the area.

We have just got back from an amazing week. Apartment was perfect, clean , spacious and ideally located. We had hired a car and went to various beaches north and south. Was lovely chilling out on the balcony after a day out and watching the world go by and people on the beach until quite late. Bed was extremely comfortable and linen and towels were spot on too. Ate out in the variety of beachside restaurants every night. Would definitely recommend. Thank you for a great holiday C & G

Fabulous apartment, best location!
The owner of the property was very helpful from the initial booking to meeting us on arrival at a nearby location. The apartment was clean and had all the facilities that you would expect - dishwasher, washing machine, WIFI etc. The location is perfect, overlooking the fantastic beach. We spent a lot of time on the balcony admiring the views!! Can't wait to return. Highly recommended!!

Perfect location, dream terrace, cosy apartment, great ocean view, direct access to beach
We spent 6 days in this -just the right size for two- roof top apartment in Gran Tarajal. It's got all you need for your stay; a large terrace with unobstructed ocean view (we had all our meals outside on the terrace and it brings also two deck chairs), airco, dishwasher, laundry machine & dryer, satellite TV (but the view from the terrace is far more interesting), iron and ironing board, shower on the terrace, cool bedroom and 1 1/2 bathroom. There is a good choice of restaurants and ample parking space within 200m from the apartment.On top of that Joaquin is a very friendly host who welcomes you at the town square on arrival and stays in contact during your stay to see if all goes well. If you are looking for a town where you can still feel the local spirit, away from the busy tourist centers and well situated to explore Fuerteventura, Gran Tarajal and this apartment is the place to be. We had a great stay.

I think there is a mistake and perhaps you have chosen the wrong accommodation because you told me on the day of departure from my apartment that you were continuing the trip to the island of Lanzarote.

Super Aussicht, toller Ort
Gran Tarajal ist ein Ort ohne Massentourismus und großen Hotelbunkern. Hier wohnen noch Menschen und das ist wunderbar! Ein toller, belebter Ort mit entspannten Menschen und kleinen Restaurants. Sogar ein Fußballspiel im örtlichen Stadion haben wir uns angeschaut. Wer Souvenirläden und andere Touristen-Bespaßung nicht braucht, ist hier genau rochtig! Der Strand ist wunderbar und wenig besucht. Ein Hyperdino und Spar sind um die Ecke. Einen Parkplatz findet man immer. Die Wohnung war sauber und gut ausgestattet. Cristina hat und sehr lieb empfangen und wir haben uns gleich zuhause gefühlt. Der Blick von der Terrasse ist traumhaft :) Wenn wir wieder kommen, dann auf jeden Fall hier her! Danke, dass wir so einen wunderschönen Urlaub abseits der touristischen Strände verbringen durften!

Wunderschöne Wohnung mit tollem Meerblick
Die Wohnung liegt in der obersten Etage mit tollem Meerblick und bietet von der großen Dachterasse aus einen wunderschönen Blick auf den Strand von Gran Tarajal. Die Wohnung war sehr sauber und extrem gut ausgestattet. Neben Waschmaschine und Trockner gibt es einen Geschirrspüler. Entsprechende Tabs haben wir kostenfrei erhalten. Die Küche ist perfekt ausgestattet mit Geschirr und Kochutensilien, es fehlt wirklich an nichts. Als Willkommensgeschenk haben wir uns über Cola, Wasser und Bier im Kühlschrank gefreut. Die Dachterasse verfügt über eine elektrische Markise und eine Außendusche, gerade an heißen Tagen eine echte Wohltat. Das Bett im kleinen Schlafzimmer war sehr bequem. Im Erdgeschoss des Gebäudes befindet sich eine sehr zu empfehlende Pizzeria und direkt daneben ein sehr gutes indisches Restaurant. Gran Tarajal ist kein touristischer Ort, was aber überhaupt kein Nachteil ist. Ganz im Gegenteil: Hier kann man ganz ins spanische Leben eintauchen. Die Übergabe der Wohnung hat ganz problemlos geklappt, sehr nette Leute! Wir haben die Zeit sehr genossen, die Tage waren viel zu schnell vorbei. Danke für alles, wir kommen wieder!

Nous avons passé 2 semaines merveilleuses. La vue et l'emplacement de l'appartement sont incroyables. Candelaria est réactive et disponible. L'appartement est bien agencé et ne manque de rien. Gran Tarajal est un lieu très agréable car peu de touristes en juillet, ce qui permet des contacts faciles avec les locaux ou espagnols sur place. Pizzeria délicieuse au pied de l'immeuble et incroyable resto Mama Gusta à quelques mètres... Pietro un grand chef en devenir. Nous avons pu visiter l'île facilement en voiture. Bref un régal. Nous pensons revenir l'année prochaine.

Beste FeWo die wir je hatten
Die Kommunikation mit der Vermieterin erfolgte auf Englisch (alternativ Spanisch) via Whattsapp. Sie war super freundlich und reagierte sehr schnell. Parkplätze sind in der Nähe vorhanden. Am besten hat es immer auf halber Strecke Richtung Hafen geklappt. Die Küche ist mit allem ausgestattet, was man zum Selbstversorgen benötigt. Kühlschrank mit 3 Tiefkühfächern, Ofen mit Cerankochfeld, Töpfe, Pfannen, Messer, Schneidebretter, Geschirr, Besteck, Gläser, Wasserkocher, Toaster, Microwelle und sogar einer Spülmaschine. Das Wifi ist richtig gut. Speedtests haben 330 Mbit/s angezeigt 😃💪 Das Bett ist bequem, hat eine feste Matratze und wir haben suuuper geschlafen. Für unseren Aufenthalt von 12 Nächten waren für 2 Personen 4 Handtücher, 2 Händehandtücher für die Bäder sowie 2 Strandtücher vorhanden. Das Warmwasser reicht für 2 Personen gut aus, wenn man nicht exzessiv duscht. Herausragend ist die Terrasse. Auf Ihr gibt es 2 Sonnenliegen mit Auflagen und einen Tisch mit 2 Stühlen. Dank Markiese kann man hier den ganzen Tag verbringen, wenn man will. Man hat das Meer, den Strand und die kleine Promenade super im Blick. Der vergleichsqeise kleine Sandstrand besteht aus dunklem Sand und ist super sauber. Fazit: Wir haben noch nie so nah am Strand eine so gut ausgestattete Wohnung gehabt, wo alles so gut geklappt hat. Wir kommen gerne wieder! Vielen Dank ❤️

Perfekte Wohnung direkt am Stadtstrand
Die Wohnung ist sehr gut ausgestattet (Aufzug, Spülmaschine, Waschmaschine, Trockner, Klimaanlage im Wohnzimmer, Satellitenempfänger) und liegt direkt am großen Stadtstrand von Gran Tarajal, der nie überlaufen war. Zu der Wohnung gehört zwar kein Parkplatz, aber in der Nähe habe ich immer einen Parkplatz gefunden. Gran Tarajal ist noch nicht touristisch überlaufen und hat z. B. keine großen Hotelbauten. Wer Ruhe sucht, in einer kleinen spanischen Stadt, ist hier genau richtig. Die Kommunikation (auf Englisch) mit dem Vermieter war hervorragend.

Apartamento muy bonito y con una ubicación excelente
Hemos estado muy a gusto, el apartamento es ideal para pasar unas vacaciones ideales, que está directamente frente a la playa, con una terraza estupenda para comer o estar a gusto leyendo tomando el sol. Dispone de todo lo necesario para estar todo el tiempo que se quiera sin tener ninguna sensación de que te falta algo.

Wundervoll
Super Strandnähe. Toller Ausblick vom großen Balkon mit Meeresrauschen. Sehr ruhig, obwohl vorm Haus die Strandpromenade war. Viele Restaurants fußläufig erreichbar. Wir werden wieder kommen. Schöner kleiner spanischer Ort. Hervorragender Ort für Menschen, die den Massentourismus meiden wollen.

Un merveilleux séjour

Tolle Lage am Strand
Die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter war sehr gut. Die Lage an der Promenade und für Ausflüge auf Fuerteventura ist perfekt. Restaurants und zwei grosse Supermärkte sind ganz in der Nähe. Die Wohnung hat alles, was man braucht, die Küche ist gross und die Terrasse ist sehr geräumig. Die Waschmaschine und der Trockner waren für uns ebenfalls hilfreich. Die Wohnung ist eine gute Wahl.

Eine Woche Sonne und Entspannung…
Das Apartment hat auf den Bildern nicht zu viel versprochen und ich kann mich den bisher durchweg positiven Bewertungen nur anschliessen. Die Terrasse ist grossartig, die Aussicht ist super und bei offenem Fenster hört man in jedem Zimmer das Meer rauschen. Die Einrichtung ist modern und praktisch sowie sauber, die Küche voll ausgestattet und alles funktioniert - wahrscheinlich u.a. auch deshalb, weil auch hier alle Geräte modern und gut gepflegt sind. Auch an Besteck, Tellern und Gläsern ist alles da, was man braucht - mir hat zumindest für die Woche nichts gefehlt und die Spülmaschine sorgt dafür, dass immer genug wieder in den Schränken ist. Wer meint, man müsse im Urlaub ein 5 Gänge Menue zaubern und instagram-like anrichten oder eine 3-stöckige Torte backen, könnte an Grenzen stossen - aber das muss auch keine Ferienwohnung können. Die Vermieter sind sehr gut erreichbar und bei allen Fragen hilfsbereit und freundlich. Ich komme gerne wieder :-)

Super Ferienwohnung mit Ausblick
Die Ferienwohnung ist sehr gut ausgestattet, nichts fehlt inkl. einem Aufzug ins 3. OG. Sie hat eine tolle Terrasse mit Blick auf Strand und Meer. Der Ort Gran Tarajal ist ruhig, sehr ursprünglich ohne viel Touristen. Trotzdem gibt es alles am Ort, was man braucht inkl. etlicher Restaurants in denen man gut und auch günstig essen kann. Alles in Allem eine Ferienwohnung die wir absolut weiterempfehlen können.

Fantastico Attico di fronte dell'Oceano
Ottimo attico posto di fronte all'Oceano con tutte le comodità di casa e un WI-FI veloce. L'appartamento dispone di tutti i confort moderni ed è in ottima posizione strategica per visitare l'isola di Fuerteventura. E' stato molto piacevole fare colazione e finire la giornata a fronte del mare. Jaquin è sempre stato disponbile e raggiungibile via whatsApp , un ottimo proprietario.

Die Wohnung ist super ausgestattet und die Lage direkt am Strand.Das Beste ist die grosse Terasse mit Blick aufs Meer. Gerne wieder!

Tolle Wohnung perfekt ausgestattet in guter Lage
Die Wohnung in Gran Tarajal ist sehr schön. Es ist alles da, großer Balkon, Küche, schnelles Internet, deutsches Fernsehen, Aufzug. Die Küche ist mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht, um sich selbst versorgen. Die Lage ist ruhig trotz Paseo. Es gibt keinen Massentourismus in dem kleinen Städtchen, aber Läden, Bäcker und Supermarkt, alles ist da und gut zu Fuss erreichbar. Der Vermieter ist sehr freundlich, die Übergabe klappte problemlos. Zwischendurch bekamen wir sogar frische Handtücher. Parken kann man sehr gut am Hafen, falls man ein Auto hat. Von dort sind es 200 m zur Wohnung. Wir haben die Woche dort sehr genossen.

Wohnen mit Meerblick
Schönes Appartement, der Balkon mit der elektrischen Markise ist der Hit! Die Küchenzeile ist perfekt ausgestattet, wir haben aber das meiste nicht benötigt. Das Appartement liegt sehr zentral, so dass wir abends immer ein nettes Restaurant gefunden haben. Das Frühstück auf dem Balkon mit Blick auf das Meer war jeden Morgen wunderbar. Supermarkt und Bäcker sind fußläufig schnell zu erreichen und das Auto konnten wir ebenfalls in der Nähe auf einem öffentlichen Parkplatz beim Hafen parken. Gran Tarajal ist eine Kleinstadt, in der viele Einheimische leben und nicht ein einziges großes Hotel steht. Der Ort hat dadurch noch einen charakteristischen Flair. Wer einen individuellen Urlaub fernab großer Hotelanlagen verbringen möchte, ist hier richtig!

Relaxed and comfortable holidays
We enjoyed the penthouse very much. Well equipped for a couple or a small family. Authentic little town with slight latin-american flair. Just stepping down to the beach for swimming or walking as shown in the pictures. Visiting nice restaurants downstairs. Real-life infrastructure und friendly people from the island.

Top-Lage, Top-Ausstattung, guter Service
Wir haben eine Woche im November 2017 im Penthaus verbracht und die Zeit sehr genossen. Unsere Erwartungen wurden voll bestätigt ! Wir würden diese Unterkunft auch unseren besten Freunden empfehlen. Gran Tarajel ist ein beschaulicher aber auch lebendiger Ort ohne große Hotels und Massentourismus - sehr angenehm. Trotzdem gibt es eine große Auswahl von Restaurants und gute Einkaufs-/Versorgungsmöglichkeiten. Wir hatten sehr schönes Wetter, das Wasser war noch angenehm temperiert und der Strand erfreulich wenig bevölkert. Besonders hervorzuheben ist die große Dachterrasse mit tollem Meerblick.

Die Ferienwohnung hat alles, was man für einen angenehmen Urlaub braucht: bestens ausgestattet, sehr sauber, ruhig und mit einer sehr großen Terrasse mit großem Tisch, Stühlen und Liegen mit Auflagen. Der Blick auf das Meer und die Berge von der Terrasse aus, ist ein Traum und sehr sehr schön. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt! Kann man nur weiterempfehlen!
