The layout of the apartment (two bedrooms downstairs, one upstairs) worked out great for our group. Parking and check in were easy. It was very close to Galway city center, but felt quiet and secluded at the same time. Would definitely stay again!"

"It was a little tough to find the place, but once I did the stay was great. The owner lives in a new house on the lake and rents out the bottom floor to guests. James was very helpful in getting me settled. Everything is new and up to date. The place is a couple miles outside Oughterard village so you probably need a car to best enjoy the place "

"Very comfortable. Surprisingly quiet since the apartment sits right near pubs. Convenient location- within walking distance to most everything. Host was great. Very accommodating. I would stay here again.My traveling companion and I were a bit challenged in finding the entrance. And be aware, you have to go through 3 coded doors to get to the unit (courtyard, building, apt.)."

"Just enjoyed a lovely peaceful week in our Inisfree Carriage House. The scenery on the Estate stunning especially seeing the Connemara ponies a short walk away. We felt totally relaxed and at home. We had a lovely welcome on arrival from Finula and John. The day before we were going home we were lucky to have a tour of the Manor House from John who was so knowledgeable about it. We came home with very special memories."

The beds were very uncomfortable. We tried to get an Uber but they refused to come to this address. The advertising of this house gave false expectations. The owners left a message that they needed to send an electrician to fix the dining area light. No one ever came so we had no light. "

The place is spotless and really well appointed and Kinvara has a plethora of dining options both high end and takeaway and a great little supermarket. But the knockout punch is the view from the apartment, I didn’t want to leave!! If this part of Ireland didn’t have so many activities to do I would have just sat inside and stared out the window!"
