"I absolutely LOVED this property! We stayed in the duplex and it was incredible. The location is perfect as there are pubs all around and there is a parking garage about a 5 minute walk away which was very convenient since we had a rental car! Staff were friendly and welcoming. Would absolutely stay here again!"
"Kinlay hostel was the perfect location to really explore Galway! The staff was very welcoming and provided us with many suggestions on what to do in the city. "
"Front desk staff were excellent. Location is close to shops and restaurants but just enough distance that it’s quiet. We had a nice spacious room, and beds were comfortable. Having parking in such a busy town was a huge benefit. We would stay again. "
"Beautifully appointed room close to restaurants and bars. Very clean and very comfortable. Would highly recommend it as the place to stay. Wish we stayed longer. "

"Great big family room with proper decent beds for everyone. So comfy!! Had a fridge and all so we could keep our snacks and extra milk in the fridge, always a great addition when travelling with kids. Breakfast was perfect. Great selection of choice. Something for everyone! "
"This location was brand new and felt like it! The room lighting options are very nice, and we were happy to have air conditioning. The upstairs lounge is beautiful, with great views."
"We enjoyed our stay at the hotel. We had a 5th floor executive room with a balcony which wasn’t cheap but was very spacious with a sitting area and balcony with a view. The bed was large and comfortable. We had breakfast in the room twice which arrived on time and as ordered for a delivery charge of €12.50. The third day we went down for the breakfast buffet which provided a good choice and although ending at 10.30 am people were still arriving about that time and getting seated. The hotel is fairly modern and was in good condition. There is a nice bar area and all the staff were very pleasant and helpful. We didn’t use the Spa facilities and so can’t comment on that. The hotel is an ideal location for walking into town Eyre Square and Qyay Street are only about 10-15 minutes walk where there are numerous pubs and restaurants to choose from. It was also only about 10-15 minutes subject to traffic to get to the races in a taxi. We hired a car and were charged €40 for 3 nights parking which sadly seems to be the norm these days! The only issue we had was our toilet getting running on the second day and then wouldn’t flush but maintenance sorted it out after a couple of requests. Overall though a very pleasant stay and if returning to Galway and the Races which we would as the place is buzzing I would definitely stay at the Galmont again."
"From the outside we were concerned because outside looked a little run down. The inside was lovely. Our room was spacious and clean. The staff was wonderful and very accommodating. It was an easy walk about 10-15 mins to downtown Galway. "
"We had a very comfortable stay at the Skeffington Arms in Galway. We had 2 rooms for a family of 4. The beds were comfortable, and there was air conditioning in each room. One of our rooms' air conditioning units was not working properly, and the room was a bit warm, but not bad. We were located in the back of the hotel, so we were not disturbed by the music in the pub downstairs. We immensely enjoyed the musician at the Skeff Bar. It was one of the highlights of our trip. The building is a beauty, but old, so all things considered, they have nicely kept the old building updated with modern amenities. I stayed in many hotels throughout my travels in Ireland, and this hotel has, by far, the best water pressure of any place I stayed. It was amazing and worth the price of the stay! I would stay here again when visiting Galway."
