Disappointed salt room closed - chose hotel for it. Staff didn't seem to care. Thermal suite was nice.
Rooms clean and comfortable.
Other hotels had free water bottle in room each day as standard amenity.
Our first time in Ireland and we stayed at the Menlo Park Hotel. The hotel itself is nice. The room was much bigger then I expected and the hotel provided robes and slippers which I think is a nice touch.
I would definitely stay here again. It's just far enough from the center of town to get rest but not so far that you could not walk into town if you wanted.
"Great location but parts of hotel a little tired"
Stayed 2 nights - awesome laundry across the road, lady lovely. Wonderful music on Thursday night with more than 20 people playing trad session. Breakfasts good and hearty. Bathroom in need of a little TLC but clean.
Would highly recommend staying here! Staff was incredibly helpful and friendly (including the bubbly woman who checked us in/out and Colin on the night shift). The elevator was broken but she cheerfully helped us carry up our bags. We had requested a quiet room so they gave us a lovely spacious room with three beds (!) on the third floor. We weren't expecting the most luxurious room in the world for the great deal we got, but it was perfectly clean, the tub was great for a good soak and the windows on the angled roof let in the perfect amount of glorious light. Breakfast was very nicely served and tasty. They have a charming pub & An Pucan is across the street--great for their lamb special, huge whiskey selection, and live music. Really don't need to go far with accommodations that are so well situated next to Eyre Square, the two principal train/bus/tour bus stations in town, and all the happy sights and activities Galway has to offer!
Awesome hotel. Room 302. Double bed and a single. Very nice workers. Great view of Eyre Square, a block from train/bus station and all the outside city tours. Shop Street, appropriately named right there and all the amenities; Irish junk food, small market, ATMS, bars and coffee shops. Busy sure, but even front site windows remarkably quiet. A find.
