"Very nice house, with very friendly owners. All facilities are there, and very clean and tidy. Although the house, garden and surroundings are very dog friendly, please note that it is not allowed to leave the dog unattended at the house. Probably good to know upfront."

"We had a 3 night stay here which was largely very enjoyable. We had a couple of minor issues which were resolved fairly quickly by the staff so they didn't impact our stay at all. My main issue was although the lodge is to a high level some aspects were not working as expected like the cooker hood not working and not enough cutlery for 4 people and a TV which kept switching itself off. Overall these things were minor, the lodge is in a lovely wooded area next to a pond which the kids loved. It's in a very quiet area and close to Eastbourne and Pevensey and there are lots to do in the area. Beds were comfortable and bathrooms were great. It was a good stay but I expected a little extra polish for the money we spent on it."

"Immaculately clean, nicely decorated and well-equipped cottage in a lovely peaceful location. We particularly enjoyed the alpacas in the field at the bottom of the garden. A few dishwasher tabs would have been nice, but tbh we weren't expecting a dishwasher in the first place! (also a washing machine, which we didn't use but always good to have with kids!). The books and games are a nice touch. Exceeded expectations."

"We had a wonderful two-night stay here as a birthday present and couldn't recommend it more.Sam is a fantastic host with excellent communication before and during our stay. The property was easy to find, check-in was straightforward, and Sam popped over when we arrived to show us around and explain everything we needed to know.The accommodation is much more spacious than we expected and is very well equipped. The bed was really comfortable, the shower was hot and powerful, and the views from the balcony are beautiful. We especially appreciated the little extras, including the Smart TV, dishwasher (with tablets provided), and a cafetière with proper ground coffee rather than instant. When we needed a couple of extra kitchen items, Sam was more than happy to lend them to us.The hot tub was a real highlight and made for a perfect way to relax after exploring the area. There are lovely walks nearby, and there's a cute village just a short distance away with a great little coffee shop. The selection of books and board games was also a nice touch for cosy evenings in.The accommodation is a beautifully converted garage with a lovely balcony nestled amongst the trees, giving it a peaceful, woodland feel. Although there are other guests staying on the property, once you're in your own space it feels completely private, and we hardly saw anyone during our stay. It really does feel like a little escape into nature.As an added bonus, the friendly cats and dogs around the proper"

"We had a wonderful stay. Sam couldn't have been a better host. The hut is well equipped with everything you could possibly need. The view, beauty and tranquility of the area is to die for. The location is also fab for exploring, whether you want to drive to any of the local villages, or take a trip to the coast (we especially enjoyed our days out in Battle and Rye/Camber Sands. Evenings sitting in the hot tub were also very appreciated! All in all, very relaxing and highly recommended. Thank you Sam for letting us stay at your lovely home"
