Top Giant's Cave Hotel Reviews
Clayton Hotel Bristol City
10/10 Excellent
"Loved the hotel great location in the center of Bristol lovey clean room with good amenities just what I expect from a Clayton hotel"
Avon Gorge by Hotel du Vin
10/10 Excellent
"We only stayed one night, but honestly very impressed. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We honestly couldn’t find any faut at all. In particular Jessica and Josh in the bar were brilliant, the atmosphere was very friendly and welcoming, in no small part due to them. This was the first time we visited the Avon Gorge, but we are already planning an expedition to longer visit in the near future."
Clifton Hotel
8/10 Good
"Excellent food and dining location"
The Bristol Hotel
8/10 Good
"The hotel is in a perfect location for getting around. And transport links are good. As lone female in a place i had not bern to before i felt safe walking around. My room was on the 4th floor and the first thing that struck me when I stepped out of the lift was how dark it was. Luckily my room was at the end of the corridor next to an external window so it was light directly outside my room but to and from the lift was dark. When the lift opened on other floors. I was struck by how bright and light the other floors were compared to the 4th floor. The room was clean but it is a bit dated. Bed was comfortable and clean. There is no draws for clothes storage, only hanging space. The thing that did annoy me was the shower . The head needs cleaning as the water flow is slow. Used the restaurant twice and both times food was good and the staff were friendly polite and helpful . Food also reasonable priced. I would recommend."
Moxy Bristol
8/10 Good
"Stayed Saturday night, room was spotless and bed very comfortable. Had free cocktail when booked in, which was more like a soft drink, but overall positive experience."
Victoria Square Hotel
8/10 Good
"Good location, bus stop just outside, close to Clifton centre, large airy room with big bed, limited onsite parking £9day, good breakfast"
Majestic Hotels Bristol
8/10 Good
"Disappointed that the bar wasn’t open very late. We arrived late on Saturday night and to unwind with a drink would have been lovely but the bar was shut"
Delta Hotels by Marriott Bristol City Centre
10/10 Excellent
"The Delta Bristol was very modern, clean, and comfortable; staff were very accommodating and friendly. The breakfast selection was incredibly varied, more than those that I've seen at other hotels. Only complaint was that the mattresses were a bit on the hard side, but we had that sorted with an extra cover provided."
ibis Bristol Centre
8/10 Good
"The hotel was clean and tidy and in a very convenient location. There is no hotel parking, but there are two car parks very close by which offer discounted rates for hotel guests. I used Q-Park, booked online before visiting, and used the code provided by the hotel on the online booking page, which made parking very straightforward. We were initially given a room overlooking all the bars, casino and games area. Unfortunately, this was very noisy and we struggled to sleep on our first night. I went to reception the following morning and requested a room change to the other side of the hotel. The staff were extremely polite, understanding and more than happy to help, and the room change was arranged without any problem. One useful tip when booking: the rooms overlooking the bar area are the odd-numbered rooms, while the even-numbered rooms are on the quieter side of the hotel, so it's worth requesting an even-numbered room if you're a light sleeper. Other than the noise issue on the first night, we had a great stay. There was a good choice of food on the breakfast buffet, and the hotel is ideally located for the brilliant nightlife, with plenty of bars and restaurants in the surrounding area. Overall, we were very pleased with our stay and would happily return."
