"We have never stayed in Breckenridge before. Grand Timber Lodge was a wonderful experience and had perfect accommodations for our family of 3. We have a 2 year old that loved the heated pools, kids wading pool and playground onsite. We did check out the game room but unfortunately didn’t have time to experience their private movie theater which we are saving for next time. The front desk staff was most helpful with dining selections, outdoor scenic routes and questions on future stays with a larger party. This Resort is conveniently located at the base of the Ski mountain and also very close to downtown. Walking would be an option depending on weather. There is also a free shuttle that runs loops downtown and you get a parking spot in the hotel garage. We booked a one bedroom master. Living room, dining table and full equip kitchen. Our view from our balcony looked straight out at the mountain slopes. We were also celebrating our Birthdays and Wedding Anniversary, which Sam was so very considerate to send up a celebratory basket full of many goodies and a bottle of red wine. We will definitely be re-booking as well as recommending this Resort. It truly is the Home away from Home experience."
