"The room was much smaller than what was advertised online. The power outlet above the kitchen counter didn’t work. The room was also very close to the elevator, and the sound insulation was poor, so it was quite noisy. I contacted the hotel about these issues but did not received a response during the stay. "

"For an up-scale hotel, the overall experience was so-so. The room I was assigned was noisy, with music blaring till 11pm from the adjacent Crystal Lodge restaurant. I had called ahead of time in an attempt to obtain a quiet room, but was told the hotel was very busy, and this was not possible. Kitchens also in need of some updating and generally not well equipped."

"We had an excellent stay. The house was very clean and tidy when we arrived. Very well stock kitchen ammenities.Great hot tub. The house had loads of family games as well to enjoy in the evenings - a great extra touch to make even more family friendly.Really great stay!"

"This is a 77 room lodge that has the potential to be great but unfortunately doesn’t begin to meet the bar for a 4 star hotel as it is advertised. First, there are virtually no services— no room service- I was told I could pick up my own food from the restaurant and bring it to the room!), no mini bar, no bottled water— even in glass bottles which would meet the green eco standards) no laundry service (I was told I could go to the garage and wash and dry my own clothes). The gym is being remodeled and is currently out of commission. There is a restaurant that is ok and and active bar area. Second, elevator areas beat up and our room was shabby- peeling paint and we had to call the plumber twice to fix the toilet. After writing a detailed letter of disappointment to the owner I was contacted by senior staff who were extremely nice and apologetic- we were compensated with breakfasts and a $200 dinner discount for each of our two rooms. But considering that we paid $14k for the two rooms for a week, the offer felt gratuitous and minimal. Despite all of these things the lodge was crowded- my guess is that people stay there to ski and for nothing else. everything in the village must have been booked or substantially more expensive. Bottom line is that this is not anywhere near a 4star experience- I expected a luxury stay and got more of a glorified Motel 6- a roof over our head. We felt cheated— not worth the money for what you get. "

"Isaac was a great host, all the information was sent early and easy to follow. The condo had everything we needed for a great stay. The new hot tub was superb!"

"Property is managed by Harmony Whistler Vacations and they were very responsive at all times. We had a problem with the dishwasher and whilst it couldn’t be fixed (we opted not to have an engineer come whilst we were there) HWV gave us some money back as a gesture of goodwill - not at all expected but a nice gesture.We really loved the fabulous views over the lake from the property. The lake was frozen and snowy and so pretty. You also get fab views of some amazing looking houses across the lake, although they in turn get to look at the somewhat scruffy apartment block, but that wasn’t our problem!"

"5/5 stars! We had a wonderful time in Whistler, the house was perfect and everyone appreciated the en suite bathrooms for each bedroom. Very short drive to the mountain and we also used the shuttle bus which was very convenient. Tim the onsite manager was very kind and showed us the shortcut to the bus stop. Would book again!"
