The Jockey Club Rooms

The Jockey Club Rooms

10/10 Excellent
"It was so good there was nothing to complain about at all. The room was comfortable, the beds lovely, there was everything that you could need. The staff were so accommodating they would get you any thing you ask for. There was always a smile and a little few words always can I get you anything. All the staff were the same just excellent, they were lovely, Parking was really good. We didn’t need air con. The only thing I did notice, there were some cobwebs, the ceiling were high though and maybe the window cleaner hadn’t been round. I felt if I commented they would be devastated. On the whole absolutely excellent."

"Stayed for 1 night. Room very nice, on ground floor overlooking horse walkers which was lovely for me. Friendly helpful staff. Really nice breakfast. Excellent choice. Used both the gym and pool. Gym well equipped. Hotel in walking distance to town. Plenty of restaurants. Horse museum well worth a visit."

Best Western Priory Hotel

Best Western Priory Hotel

8/10 Good
"A basic hotel set in lovely, peaceful grounds. The rooms could do with updating, but for a three-star hotel, they were as expected. I didn’t book breakfast, and unfortunately, the Sunday roast didn’t look very appealing. I stayed for four nights while visiting family, and the location was quiet and pleasant. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. However, housekeeping didn’t clean our room once during our stay. When we asked for it to be cleaned, the cleaner said she would, but instead left someone else’s dirty cups in our room, which was disappointing. Overall, I would stay again, mainly because it is the closest hotel to where my family lives."
