"Lovely old hotel conveniently located to all the sights of Antwerp, but in a mostly residential area that is quiet and peaceful. Great breakfast, friendly staff, very relaxed environment. The building is beautiful, but be aware that you’ll need to climb plenty of stairs; if that’s a problem, choose a more modern hotel with an elevator! I enjoyed my night here and would stay here again if I return to Antwerp. My room was basic, but I slept well, and that’s what really matters at a hotel."
"Very comfortable property that is kept immaculate. The staff at the front desk are very accommodating. We loved our morning cappuccinos and the breakfast was simple but excellent. It’s a very quiet neighbourhood but a short walk to the Cathedral area will provide all the dining and drinking options. "Really easy if you have a morning flight out of Brussel - Zaventem Airport, (specially if your route to the airport leads through Antwerp, traffic is a disaster in the morning so better leave the evening before) this Holiday Inn Express is IMHO perfect for that, I am not sure the rate's are lower then normal in July, but what i paid (a Decent breakfast and shuttle included) is absolutely Value for money."
