"Large dead roach on floor as soon as entered the house. Dishes were left in the dishwasher. Sand still on floor in some areas. Woman above us constantly stomping around. Our stay wasn't as nice as previous experiences here. Little dissapointed this time."

It was clean and well stocked with easy access to the beach and the views from the house picture window and deck were stunning!The location of Pura Vida was wonderful with a quiet residential location and a private beach feel yet close to great restaurants and shops only a mile away. Looking forward to returning soon! Highly recommend this property."

"We had a great time at this property. Loved the layout of the house. The pool was clean and warm. The laundry area was great for storing coolers and also used that fridge for beer and bait. Overall, we were very pleased."

"My husband and I were very happy to return to Island Secret. It was a delightful home-away-from-home for our month-long stay, with our two kitties, at St. George Island. We would not hesitate to recommend this property for those looking for a rental in this area….super-comfortable outdoor spaces for enjoying both sunshine and shade; quiet neighborhood; quick walk to the beach; amazing grilling area, very well-stocked kitchen which made meal-prep a joy! The island is so bike-friendly. We rented bikes for the month from Island Dog; and were highly satisfied with the bikes provided. The kayak rentals through Whenever Watersports within Dr. Julian G Bruce State Park were great for paddling/fishing adventures. We had lots of fun with pier, surf, and kayak fishing…flounder, pompano, Spanish mackerel, whiting, sea trout. Thanks to the friendly/helpful/kind owners for sharing such a sweet cottage/property! Our time at St. George Island was amazing; and Island Secret is a gem of a rental!"

"The cottage is charming and has character. The location is great with easy access to the beach, shopping,and just going for a bicycle ride around town. Bikes provided by the host, John, who is very pleasant , personable, and helpfull."
