2/10 Terrible

"I would not stay here again. The room was dirty upon arrival, with hair in both the bed and bathroom, and the floors appeared not to have been properly cleaned. Several basic amenities were missing or nonfunctional, including working entryway lights, smoke detectors, and a hairdryer. The property also lacks many of the amenities travelers typically expect, including an elevator, pool, and on-site food options. Another disappointment was the balcony experience. The air conditioning units vent directly onto the balconies, making them extremely hot and uncomfortable to use. The room contained two televisions, but neither one worked. Upon arrival, there was a notice on the door stating that local television channels and the sports package were unavailable. Even with that notice, it was frustrating that neither TV functioned properly during our stay. The only positive aspect of this property is its convenient location near the lighthouse and public beach access. Unfortunately, the poor cleanliness, missing safety features, broken amenities, and overall lack of value far outweighed the location benefits. I would never return to this property and cannot recommend it to other travelers."

"It was very to easy to find it. Awesome location, very quite area, with a beautiful view. The host was wonderful, friendly! Very clean room and bathroom. Beautiful sunsets! They had a few shops nearby, we rented bikes and delivered to our place and picked it up."

"This cottage is one of the older homes on the beach and is very quaint, with a personality of its own. The cottage was ready for us before check-in, and the owner, John let us know right away. We spoke with John a few days before leaving for our trip he let us know about the cottage, and the "rules of the property". He told us if we had any problems to give him a call and he would take care of the issue. On Sunday we did have an issue with the shower head, I called him and he had the issue fixed within a couple of hours. He was a pleasure to speak with and a man of his word. The price was right for what we were looking for!"

"This was by far one of our best vacation rentals. Everything about the house was exactly what we needed but more than we expected. From the large rooms to the pool...it was perfect. Our host, Vic, was very accommodating and quick to respond to my questions. Overall, a huge thumbs up."
