"Staff were fabulous - especially Helen and Tom. Nothing was too much trouble, regardless of how busy they were! Very friendly and the place was clearly popular with locals - a really sociable, comfortable place!"

"A lovely olde world pub, with a friendly Irish Manager.
The only downfall was the cleaners who were moving furniture round in the room next door at 8am in the morning, which continued until we got up at about 9.15."
"This was easily the best place we’ve stayed all of our honeymoon! The staff were so sweet, room was beautiful and had an amazing view - breakfast was great and the bar was top notch as well! Definitely hope to make it out this way and stay here again "
"Beautiful character property, large comfortable rooms (little tired but stiil lovely), with all amenities and extra touches, eg fruit and home made biscuits provided each day. Homely feel and lovely staff. Extra bonus of an outdoor pool although could do with a bit of a spruce up. We loved our stay here."
"Our first time at The Green Man and we will be returning.
Had a great time, accommodation and food excellent.
They also have a wonderful front of house called Amanda who was great fun and extremally helpful."
"Great location, quick and easy check in.
Fantastic room but WiFi hit and miss and no signal for TV.
Dining options were good especially the taco's for starters.

"We really enjoyed our three days here. Everyone was very friendly and the hotel is charming and quirky. The weather was very hot, so the addition of two sturdy portable fans was very welcome. We were in a lovely attic conversion and could see the countryside around for miles. Although we were at the top of the building, the water pressure was good and we could all have showers to cool off without any problems - plenty of hot water, too - and the toiletries smelled gorgeous. Breakfast cooked to order with fresh local produce and plenty of choice. Even though the hotel seemed fairly full there was no delay at all, but we never felt rushed or hurried either. We were lucky enough to be able to leave our car in the hotel car park throughout our stay - parking is limited, but we could see a public car park nearby - as there are good bus services to the neighbouring towns we wished to visit (Hereford and Monmouth). A really good short break. "
"Such a lovely hotel with lovely food and drink served by very friendly staff.
I was slightly disappointed with my room as others in our party who had paid the same rate had a fridge in the room ( it was 29c on the day of our stay ) and also bedside plugs - I suffer from sleep apnea and have to sleep with a Cpac machine which ness plugging in - unfortunately I was unable to use this machine on one night thus effecting my sleep that night.
However, I lovely mental stay and would love to return one day
Thank you , Rob."

"A lovely hotel with a great vibe
