"It was a quaint building, the rooms were of a good size, very clean, with a tv & everything you could want, plenty of tea & coffee etc, with extras if needed, our bathroom was across a very small corridor, but it was just ours & they supply robes for you to use. Nicky & Philip were great hosts & accommodated us arriving a bit earlier, which was much appreciated. Breakfast was fantastic, a big table laden with fruit, homemade muesli, yogurt, local, honey & pastries & then a choice of what you want from a full English, it was all delicious. It was perfect for our one night stay"

"Very nice house, with very friendly owners. All facilities are there, and very clean and tidy. Although the house, garden and surroundings are very dog friendly, please note that it is not allowed to leave the dog unattended at the house. Probably good to know upfront."

"Immaculately clean, nicely decorated and well-equipped cottage in a lovely peaceful location. We particularly enjoyed the alpacas in the field at the bottom of the garden. A few dishwasher tabs would have been nice, but tbh we weren't expecting a dishwasher in the first place! (also a washing machine, which we didn't use but always good to have with kids!). The books and games are a nice touch. Exceeded expectations."

"We had a wonderful two-night stay here as a birthday present and couldn't recommend it more.Sam is a fantastic host with excellent communication before and during our stay. The property was easy to find, check-in was straightforward, and Sam popped over when we arrived to show us around and explain everything we needed to know.The accommodation is much more spacious than we expected and is very well equipped. The bed was really comfortable, the shower was hot and powerful, and the views from the balcony are beautiful. We especially appreciated the little extras, including the Smart TV, dishwasher (with tablets provided), and a cafetière with proper ground coffee rather than instant. When we needed a couple of extra kitchen items, Sam was more than happy to lend them to us.The hot tub was a real highlight and made for a perfect way to relax after exploring the area. There are lovely walks nearby, and there's a cute village just a short distance away with a great little coffee shop. The selection of books and board games was also a nice touch for cosy evenings in.The accommodation is a beautifully converted garage with a lovely balcony nestled amongst the trees, giving it a peaceful, woodland feel. Although there are other guests staying on the property, once you're in your own space it feels completely private, and we hardly saw anyone during our stay. It really does feel like a little escape into nature.As an added bonus, the friendly cats and dogs around the proper"

"We had a wonderful stay. Sam couldn't have been a better host. The hut is well equipped with everything you could possibly need. The view, beauty and tranquility of the area is to die for. The location is also fab for exploring, whether you want to drive to any of the local villages, or take a trip to the coast (we especially enjoyed our days out in Battle and Rye/Camber Sands. Evenings sitting in the hot tub were also very appreciated! All in all, very relaxing and highly recommended. Thank you Sam for letting us stay at your lovely home"

"Lovely accommodation. Bed was comfortable. The annexe was quiet. It had everything you could want. Heating was welcomed too. Host was lovely. However, on listing there was no mention that to access the property there were steps. The choice was to go through a gate and walk down seven steps or walk down the entire length of the garden which was sloped downwards towards the property and still go down two steps. I have mobility issues and was using a dog pram to transport my belongings. I couldn't do the seven steps and the other option made me very nervous walking a long way on the wet grass and then still having to navigate two steps. The host helped me a couple of times but I was there three nights so had to manage this mostly myself and it was very anxiety provoking even when just walking with a stick. However, the accommodation itself was lovely and I enjoyed my stay, However, I worry that anyone booking with any kind of mobility issues wouldn't know the issues from looking at the photos and there is no mention anywhere in the listing of steps. If this information had been on the listing I would have not taken it. If you have no mobility issues then this is a lovely place to stay. "
