"Never met the host, we were advised property booked was suddenly not available and had to make do with a property in Whitstable, never advised why when we asked why this happened. There are a number of things that were not up to standard, oven dirty inside, back door dirty and blind not working, blind in back bedroom only went halfway down, lack of saucepans, iron was not working and someone had to bring a new one, vacuum cleaner did not work, there was no mop or brush or dustpan and brush to sweep and clean floors, Only one tea towel for 19 days same with sheets and towels. The kitchen tap constantly dripping. Both towel rails in the bathroom large and small not secure to the wall."

"5 star stay !!! Our family stayed for 14 nights over Christmas and New Year. The whole experience, from communication with Martyn and Amanda, to checking in, to staying in the house, has been smooth, easy and brilliant. We had 3 different generations staying and everyone absolutely loved the property. The photos do not do the property justice. It is so much more spacious, cosy, comfy and full of beautiful things. Everything is set out for you to just turn up and be able to start using everything straight away. They have the most comprehensive welcome pack and the welcome hamper will blow you away!! The property is sparkling clean, full of lovely personal touches and everything you will ever need. It is so close to the beach, shops, restaurants, pubs, local attractions and so much more. We can’t wait to return and stay again. A truly magical place to stay and make memories with a partner, family or friends. Thank you so much for hosting us xxxx "

"A lovely basement apartment, nice and cool during the hot weather!There are 2 double bedrooms, one is a good size but the 2nd is quite snug & would be quite tight if 2 people were sleeping there. The kitchen has everything you need and is well thought out. The lounge/dining room is spacious and the decor in the whole apartment is very well done.Charlie was a great host & didn’t hesitate to go out to buy a non-slip shower mat after my Mum struggled in the shower.Situated just across the road from Herne Bay Pier, this location couldn’t be better! Would definitely recommend!"

"Nice property, garden was great for the kids and the dog, very safe. Wendy house was very popular. House itself was well appointed and close to the town and beach. A nice park about 10 mins walk away.Host manager was helpful and responsive"
