Annexe in beautiful Suffolk countryside sleeps up to 3

Self contained 1 bedroom annexe in countryside location featuring open plan living room and bedroom with king size bed plus galley kitchen and bathroom.

Annexe benefits from log burner, courtyard garden and fully equipped kitchen including fridge freezer, hob and combi oven/microwave/grill.

Annexe joined on to hosts home which is based in rural location looking out on to open fields just few minutes drive from historic market town of Hadleigh. Ipswich and Colchester both 30 mins drive away.

We have recently revamped the annexe space and look forward to welcoming guests from January 2022. The annexe is self contained with its own front door which we can use for family and friends as well as paying guests.

The location is fantastic insofar as it is very quiet down a farmers track on the edge of the market town of Hadleigh with no other houses nearby but still within walking distance.

The Annexe had a small courtyard area outside with a bistro table and two chairs plus a garden bench.

Pets are welcome for an additional £10 charge per pet per night paid on arrival.

Logs are also available for £5 for five logs.

Please note that the living room and bedroom are all in one open space.

Access to the annexe is by its own separate entrance located at the right hand side of the hosts’ home. There is no need to enter our own home.

Guests can park on the main driveway to the right of the house.

Please note Air BNB emails guests three days before check in with instructions on how to find us so do please read these as they show exactly where the Annexe is including pictures showing the black gates through which the entrance to the Annexe can be found. Please note the Annexe is not found above the garage as can be seen on the pictures. Please let us know if you don’t receive this.

Mostly ok
Exceptionally clean throughout; well stocked cupboards (except for salt). Issues with the heating were resolved as it kept going off resulting in the bathroom, in particular, being really cold. Creaky floor meant waking each other up when visiting the loo at night. One of us found the mattress far too soft with a dip & hardly slept. Final night spent on the sofa instead.

Lovely weekend stay
Fabulous weekend in this idyllic spot just outside Hadleigh. Peaceful and tranquil but within a stroll of shops, pubs and restaurants in the town. Great base to explore Suffolk. Richard great host and really helpful for local advice. Would definitely stay again.
