"Enjoyed my stay. Hostess was excellent. Explained the accomodations very well and was extremely pleasant. Breakfast was very good, excellent location, and has a rooftop patio. "
"This hotel reflects the richness of history and culture of the city and the hosts make a personal effort to combine great hospitality quality with kindness and charm. "
"A very nice hotel made even better by the staff. The team made excellent suggestions for dinner, including at the hotel itself, beaches and things to do. When their expertise came into its own was when the weather deteriorated and made reservations to enjoy lunch and wine tasting at a vineyard, then at an olive oil factory. Both fab experiences. "
"A lovely and simple property next to a beautiful garden with very kind and courteous staff. Simple rooms, very clean and steeped in local history. Don’t miss the church next door- or the crypt downstairs."

"We had a good overall experience at this B&B. The place was clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Breakfast was great with a good variety, and parking was easy and convenient.
Just a note—there’s no pool or tennis court on site. They do have a partnership with the local sports centre, but you’ll need to drive there as well as to most places in the area. Our room was clean and nicely decorated, but a bit too small for three people.
The staff made up for it with their warm hospitality and great local recommendations. Would recommend if you’re looking for a clean and friendly place to stay!"
"Peaceful rural location yet ideally located for exploration of nearby Val di Noto towns.
Friendly staff. Beautiful food. Great pool. Spacious rooms. Would happily return! "
"
We had the most peaceful and enjoyable stay at Torre Don Virgilio. The resort is beautifully maintained, with stunning grounds that feature some of the most amazing olive trees we’ve ever seen. The atmosphere was serene and perfect for relaxation. The food was absolutely excellent, offering authentic flavors with a touch of elegance. The service was top-notch, and the staff made sure every detail was perfect. Our room was impeccable—clean, comfortable, and well-appointed. Overall, we highly recommend Torre Don Virgilio to anyone looking for a perfect getaway."
"Upon arrival, the property appeared unkempt
and tired. At check in we discovered the swimming pool was not Included in the fee and would cost another 30€ for one half day. At the pool terrace, we were removed by staff as our pool passes did not include sitting at poolside! We were sent to the “garden” area which was a weedy, garbage strewn area away from the pool. Our room was very, very dated and unmaintained, including several lights and the television not functioning, no air conditioning and dirty bathroom vanity. We were advised that the central air conditioning is controlled by the front desk and would be turned on, which it never was, or was set so high as to be useless. The internet was spotty and very slow. The mattress was old,
lumpy and had a huge dip in the center, making for a terrible night’s sleep. All in all, absolutely our worst stay in Sicily."
