"Checked into first room phone did not work, TV had no remote and did not when I went to get remote from desk. I'm disabled; I use a walker. Person at front said someone would come a fixed TV, I waited for an hour or so, no one came. I had to go back to front desk. I had to use my phone to call front desk, no one answered. I got another room and got inside, went put insulin in refrigerator I saw the rubber around was had mold around the door and didn't work. I took pictures Had to go back to front again. I showed front desk person picture of frig. Next and last room was 530. All this time I no help moving from room to room. This whole process took 4 hrs. There were bugs in bathroom and in the chair in the room. Called front, again they said they would send somebody. No one ever came. I have pictures of the bugs. Ice machine in hallway had rust. I tried to download pictures but couldn't."

"The Floor was dirty. There was an iron no ironing board. The room was let very dimmly. The was no additional inside lock on the door, looks like it broke off and was never replaced. Advertised free breakfast but no inforation was given. No Phone in room to contact front desk. Pool was green. If you need a quick place to lay your head go for it. The bed was comfortable, but the comforter was falling apart. Air Conditioning was the saving grace."

"Our room (205) was spacious and clean at the end of a hall so it was also extremely quiet, even though planes were flying nearby into and out of the airport (we didn't really hear them). The manager was exceptional -- friendly, helpful, knowledgeable about the area and the property, professional and quick to respond to special requests. He really elevates this property. The bed and pillows were very comfortable and our room had blackout curtains that worked very well. Our stay was what we expected and we were pleased, but the breakfast was somewhat lacking. It is your standard complimentary breakfast buffet with a waffle machine, toast, eggs, sausage, cereals, yogurt, milk, breads, muffins, coffee, juices, etc... But it could use a little more variety -- the same tasteless eggs each of the three mornings and no bacon in sight. Except for one morning when they served simple cheese omelets which were terrific! If you're looking for a safe, clean budget hotel near the New Orleans airport with an exercise room, free breakfast and outdoor pool, this is a good choice. The grounds are beautiful with lots of flowers and flowering trees lining the property and a simple picnic area with nice landscaping. The only real drawback is that there are no restaurants or stores within walking distance (NAPA store is next door)."

"The staff was very nice and helpful. We liked the value and and stayed there 5 days. There was always lots of trash in the parking lot the entire five days. We had to change rooms 3 times due to maintenance problems with the shower not working in room 301. The second room number 305 had a disgusting milk stained office chair and broken refrigerator. We were then moved to 306 which had a lovely view of IHOP's roof, but the room was clean and everything worked. The staff was very helpful and apologized for all the inconveniences. Overall, the hotel has a lot of deferred maintenance and the price is reflective of the quality of the property. The staff is very courteous and friendly despite the hotel's shortfalls. We are thankful for there hospitality."
