"I had a great stay at Fosshotel Reykjavík. The room was clean, comfortable, and quiet, and everything felt well maintained. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was really good with plenty of options. The location was also very convenient for getting around the city. I would definitely stay here again."

"Absolutely great. The pictures don’t do the property justice. Very spacious, spotless clean, totally fell in love with the floors. The sauna and tub were spectacular, got some amazing aurora views while relaxing in both. The neighborhood was great, with multiple stores like Bónus just a few minutes away. The owner was super friendly. Would definitely stay here again. "

"Room was great. It would be great if the rooms were as updated as the lobby area. The rooms are a little dated and thr hallways leading to the rooms have the grandma's house smell, but overall it was good. I'd come back. "

"Only the bare minimum was available in the kitchen. Bring your own corkscrew and knives! We had to pay a lot for extra cleaning of the room and then noticed they had not done much, not changed the sheets nor cleaned the bathroom. There was a lot of dust behind and under couch.... "

"Everything is up to par and as stated. The only obstacle we encountered was that my husband kept hitting his head on beam of the loft ( he is 5'11"). We had to hang some articles of clothing there to remind him of the low beam! Other than that the place was very comfortable and surprisingly spacious in the lounge, dining and kitchen area. The bedroom is small yet comfy and the bathroom pretty cramp.The location is very convenient to Reykjavik and there were many jogging and cycling paths in the neighborhood. the supermarket was also conveniently located less than 10 minutes away. Plus if you take a drive out ti the shoreline, there is a nice view of the Hallgrimskirkja church across the water and you can visit the President of Iceland's state home!Parking was really easy for our very large Toyota Land Cruiser. "

"The house worked out very well for our family. Well located for all we wished to do. Maria did a great job setting up beds to accommodate our additional person. We did not cook any meals as we were gone all day but if one so desired everything was available. As long as you have a car I would highly recommend this property!!"
