Our room was also very spacious, and featured a japanese style shower which was super cool (and absolutely spotless as well!). The staff was also very kind and helpful. "The hotel was very conviently located about a 25 minute walk from the main areas of kyoto. It was also close to the train eaten station. Overall the stay was very pleasant. The included breakfast of rice porridge was simple but nourishing. The rooms are compact and the only issue was the water temperature in the shower would occasionally drop to a colder temperature."

"We felt absolutely spoiled here. The room was spacious, spotless, and so comfortable. Easy to find cabs and the bus was just outside giving easy access. Good restaurants within walking distance though not in the thick of things. Definitely recommend."
