"The property & house are great if you like an old farmhouse feel (we loved it!). Just make sure you realize check-in is after 5:30pm and when you arrive, you call the number to have someone let you in. This worked just fine for us and was prompt without issue. "The Glencarrig B&B was the perfect place to stay! Our room was comfortable and we utilized the guest lounge and game room. The entire place was clean and quaint. Mary is a wonderful host with a true gift in hospitality. "Hosts were very personable and approachable. Breakfast offerings were first rate. Although situated on a main thoroughfare, the bnb was quiet and very clean. Could use a few more towels in the room and mysteriously (for the hosts and the guests), water supply was shut off without warning at 8 a.m. and lasted for several hours. Fortunately, we were headed out for the day. "

Thatched Cottage with Hot Tub walking distance to Hugh's Pub.

9.8 out of 10, Exceptional, (136)
"Cannot say enough good things about this little cottage. It’s excellently located to all the best attractions in Kerry, and it’s perfectly situated in the country but close enough to Castleisland to make getting groceries and going to the local pub easy. The caretaker, Timmy, built a fire for us twice and a local man gave my Dad an autographed book of his own poetry. Absolutely perfect accommodation for a family trip."

"We stayed at jack duggan pub. It was clean, comfortable and spacious accommodation and really fun to have the bar. On a busy road so some traffic noise but with windows closed it was fine. The house is well stocked, our host was easy to communicate with and responded quickly to any queries. We went to the griffin for a nice pub dinner one night and the staff there were fabulous. "
