"Most stays we have had at Holiday Inn Express have been great and actually Very little complaints. rooms always clean, great breakfast, pool etc. However, the Lake Placid Holiday Inn Express was FANTASTIC from Paula at the desk when we arrived right to the room staff. Room, (Tub) (very important) was spotless. I asked the evening desk clerk if he knew when the local ice cream parlor closed. Instead of no or some vague answer he said "Hold on, I'll look that right up for you". That goes a long way with me. On a closing note, the Lady doing breakfast on 8/16, (didn't catch her name) kept the area stocked and clean every minute and was an awesome person in general. We will stay again Steve & Beth Mealey Micco, Fl."

"House was nice, the water was low as they haven’t have much rain. Caught a few medium size bass. Unfortunately we found a few roaches around the kitchen and night time. but I’m sure they will take care of it."

"We loved our stay. The house was bright clean and inviting. You could really make yourself feel at home. The beds were comfortable and linens were fresh and crisp. The kitchen was well equipped and the fridge was so spacious. The roosters are still around. They greeted us when we first got there, but once in the house - we rarely heard them. We got to watch a couple trains go by on the tracks across the highway. This was a treat. Dennis was very kind and friendly. We hope to visit this VRBO again."
