"Room 9 Shower screen allows water to leak onto bathroom floor, we had to put towels on floor to mop up the water. No hair dryer in room. No toilet roll in bathroom. Had a nice stay, just a couple of issues with the room"

"This is a really, really nice hotel. The room was lovely. Very nicely laid out, very clean and with everything you need. Very nice bathroom with toiletries and with a good shower and large bath. Breakfast was very good with several choices and we enjoyed a full English and Eggs Benedict. The staff were lovely and were extremely helpful with everything including offering to take our bags up to the room etc. Parking was on site and very good. We arrived quite early, well before check in, and they let us park so that we could go for a walk which we really appreciated. We can highly recommend this hotel and would have stayed longer if we were able."

"Brilliant to find a place in Matlock with parking and only 10 min walk into centre. The place was perfect for our anniversary and the steam room made it. Property is in quiet spot at back of period property. Beautiful. Tips: feather pillows - my fault didn’t ask pre booking. Internet weak. And could benefit for a bit of privacy infront of property if other guests using main house with main garden. That said, I did love the stay"

"Perfect B&B. Sue and John were very welcoming and couldn't have done more for us. Room was very spacious and comfortable. It was well equipped with lots of attention to detaill. Everything was spotlessly clean in the room and the communal areas. Breakfast was excellent with a good choice . Only downside was the road which was a bit challenging but we got used to it!"

"We had a lovely 2night stay in the cottage. It had all the amenities needed, clean and tidy and clear instructions on how to use the facilities. It was lovely to have a bit of garden access as well. Cromford is a very cute quiet village and was a convenient location close to Matlock Baths and is well placed to get to other areas of the Peak District. We explored Matlock, Bakewell & Buxton and did some walks around Castleton and Thorpe Cloud/ Dovedale. We had a great stay. Wish we had discovered the local Bookshop/cafe a bit sooner, only had 10 minutes to explore it before it closed!"

"A lovely cottage with nice surroundings. Very clean, warm and welcoming. The local people are very pleasant and the local public house is very nice with great food. I will certainly consider returning for another short break and would recommend it to anyone wanting a quiet, peaceful and relaxing holiday."

"Great house for a New Year’s Eve get together with friends and family. Kitchen really well stocked with pots and pans with more than enough crockery and glasses for a full house of guests plus plenty of fridge freezer space. We didn’t come across anything we were missing. Hosts were great, Terence came and greeted us on arrival and also came to say goodbye at the end of our stay but left us to our own devices for the rest of the trip which was perfect. Would stay again. "
