"Clean room and clean sheets. WiFi could have been better. Friendly staff though. But could do with more showers and toilets. "

"Wish I was staying more nights at the Dakota. Will def check it out again when I am in Edinburgh. Everything about the hotel was top notch. Molton Brown toiletries, yummy cookies and tea/coffee, linen exceptional, front desk and all staff courteous and helpful. I didn't use the restaurant or bar but it looked posh. The best thing is, if you need to get to or from the airport, they have a pickup and drop off service. Make sure you walk down into Queensferry (10 minutes from the hotel). It's beautiful with lovely restaurants and shops as well as history and a view that is not to be missed. Also the lovely shaggy dog statue as you arrive in the hotel warmed my heart. Being a dog lover it was welcoming and whimsical."

"The hotel itself was excellent and clean. Unfortunately there was no hand towels and due to a lot of students that time we stayed, it was very loud, noisy, banging of doors and even knocking to our room. The staff were very kind and accommodating. They don’t charge for leaving your luggage even you haven’t check in and no charge too even you check out. The room is spacious but there was only one chair."

"Washer dryer was a combo that didn’t really dry the clothes, even after hours so everything was hung on the thoughtfully provided drying rack. Couch had some stains that were a bit gross but we were able to use one of the extra duvets to cover it and sit down. Everything was clean-ish, but felt like a lived in apartment where things aren’t quite totally clean. Staff was lovely and likely would’ve tried to help correct but I didn’t bring the issues up after mentioning the couch situation and there wasn’t much of a reaction. Area was alright but not quite as central as I would’ve hoped (maps of Edinburgh are deceptive!), though a few bus stops are nearby that got us where we needed to go fairly quickly."

"Very nice option next to the international convention center. Rooms are small but adequate and very clean (and quiet). Reasonable breakfast buffet, front desk staff is very friendly and helpful. Many reasonable yet inexpensive dining options within three blocks, plus fine dining within a mile or so."

"The lobby and dinning areas are updated and welcoming. The halls between rooms are very tired and need a refresh. The room was clean but need updating as well."

"They were not ready for most meal service as their renovation plans appeared delayed."
