Excellent stay, truly lovely staff. Great location, comfy and clean rooms, good breakfast, and a lovely time lying out by the pool in the sunshine. Despite the hotel being full, it was very peaceful and we felt like we had the space to ourselves. Thanks for making our holiday very tranquil.

I can’t say enough good things about my stay at Late Birds. It was wonderful! The staff created such a warm and inviting atmosphere. As a result, many of the guys congregated during breakfast and happy hour to converse and get to know one another. The hotel was in walking distance of great restaurants, historical highlights, and the gay bars and clubs, but the added charm of its location is that it was quietly and peaceful. Another highlight of the stay was the day trip to Sintra and Pena Palace — don’t miss out on this option.

An amazing experience, 5 Star. Host Carlos Rico and the whole staff truly made this a pampered experience, without the fuss. The vision of a Gay Urban Resort achieved through each detail in this beautifully renovated 18th century turned modern space. All in the heart of Bairro Alto. Special call outs to Ricardo for his classic margarita, and resident visiting French artist, Martin Dieudonne (love my piece bought). I just must return to join Phillippe on his boat.
