"It’s not worth the price we paid, we booked for 11 person but the bed can only accommodate 10 person that my son end up sleeping on the floor , upstrair toilet floor is leaking down to the kitchen, we emailed the host on the first day but no reply til we check out, So we have to share the the down floor toilet, the hot tub is dirty that we end up cleaning for us to be able to use, dusty and loads of cubweds in one of the bedroom downstairs."

"The cottage was in a perfect location for us. The town centre of Ruthin is within walking distance and there are many interesting destinations a short drive away. The cottage was clean and all the essentials were provided. The bedding and towels were of good quality and the bed was very comfortable. There is secure off-road parking and the garden is fenced around. There is a tall step between the back door and the gravelled garden, but Ruthin is hilly so this should not be a surprise! "

"A cottage packed with comfort, but especially the warm welcome of the owners which gives a personal touch for us. We enjoyed the cosiness of the cottage and the beautifull area. As we like mountainwalks and wanted to have an easy walk in between, the local walks were beautifull aswel. We also had a lovely time there with our friends from Swaledale. "Overall great. Just a few issues with service especially when you arrive to check in, and all you want to do is get it done efficiently with your family in tow. So when a guest arrives, please great them. Don’t wait for them to wonder what to do next; so I guessed that the newly installed tablet maybe for me to you use, considering I had been ignored. (No other guests). Standing, there, knowing I am there, not acknowledging or asking if I need any assistance. Not a good look. Otherwise one other issue. Couldn’t get booked into the gastro pub, as it was somehow full, even though maybe at most visibly 40% occupied. I guess not enough staff to provide quality service. However I was able to get into the a la carte restaurant and it was fantastic. Well done. The room was a real highlight, wonderfully spacious, clean and with character. Funny thing though was the faucet for the sink, which was so low, I couldn’t get water in the room supplied kettle. Would stay again, just please, first impressions count; make an effort there. Thx"
