Chesapeake Beach Resort

10/10 Excellent

"Great hotel on Islamorada close to everything; lots of restaurants, near to Publix, property is nice and the staff extra nice/ Shut out to Kathy on the breakfast lounge she was extra helpful. Only bad thing was the beach area was full of sargasso and we couldn't use it but that's nature's fault. you can literally walk to some restaurants and there a lot of things to do in the Key."

"Had a great time at the resort. Staff were friendly and well informed of things to do around the Keys. The townhouse was excellent. All the comforts of home. The only problem I had was our townhouse wasn’t ready before check in. We had to wait around 40 minutes past 4pm. We arrived a little early. Around 3:10 pm but we were invited to all amenities on the property while we waited. Very relaxing stay."

"We had a wonderful stay and really loved the resort. The room and balcony were absolutely perfect. My one suggestion would be to consider making one of the two beachfront pools adults-only. There is already an adults-only pool on the property, which is a nice option, but it’s located in the middle of the resort and doesn’t offer the same relaxing beach and ocean views. With two large oceanfront pools, it seems like a great opportunity to designate one for adults who are looking for a quieter place to relax and swim. There are many couples and groups of adults who come here for a peaceful getaway and would appreciate being able to enjoy the oceanfront pool experience without kids jumping in around them or games being played nearby. Besides the busy & loud pool area, our overall experience was fantastic. It’s a beautiful property, and this small change would make it even better."
