"With two dogs, we appreciated the safe and scenic spaces to walk around. The Bark Park outdoor field, with its sandpit and climbing equipment, was brilliant. Overall, we couldn't fault anything. The restaurant/food was perfect.
Thank you. 😊 "
"Met up with old school friends, had a fabulous weekend, Karen was a fantastic host, everything we needed was in our little studio apartment. Comfortable, clan a home from home."
"Plus sides: next to the Donkey Sanctuary and the ability to cook for yourself.
Now for the downsides. Where to begin?
*Couldn't get into contact with the owner for check-in, arrival times, code to the key box or anything. Only after contacting Travelnest (the third company in charge of advertising the property) by phone on the day of check-in, I got a very short email from the owner about the check-in time (an hour later than advertised) and code for the key box. No apologies, not even his/her...
"The hotel had a grand and atmospheric dining room, and the staff, both at breakfast and checking in/out were most welcoming and friendly. A very good breakfast too. "

"We very much enjoyed our stay at the White Cottage. We were made very welcome and shown around on our arrival. The room was nice, with two chairs as well as a comfortable bed. Tea and coffee making facilities were provided, including a flask of fresh milk and decaff coffee and tea which was appreciated. The shower was powerful and warm and plenty of towels were provided. There was a nice guest lounge downstairs and a bar, plus a lovely garden to sit in. The breakfast was excellent too - freshly cooked and nice and warm. We very much enjoyed our stay at the White Cottage, thank you. "

"First time booking and I am really looking forward to book again. The room is really comfortable and I was welcomed with a great cinnamon bun. Breakfast is great, with wonderful pastry. The atmosphere is friendly and the hosts are really lovely and make you feel at home immediately. I will book again for sure!"
