"Lovely staff from check in, then ordering takeaway burger at their restaurant and then breakfast reception. The unit we had had 2 queen beds which I didn’t expect as we had only booked for 1 and it looked straight out onto Golden Lake which is shallow for such a long way that it is like a safe swimming

"It was what I would expect out of a motor lodge. At one time someone put a hole in the bedroom wall, and they patched it and just left it unpainted and unsmoothed, looked shabby. The hot water never got hot in the bathroom sink unless I ran the shower on hot to bring it in, that was odd. The restaurant however is a saving grace, it was very good. "
