"This can't be a 4 stars hotel. Building is very old with old windows and worn out carrpets. All doors are also worn out and unadjustable so they are slamming constantly, it's impossible to sleep after 6 AM. We were on the first floor with narrow and steep staircase. Aperently there is also a newer and nicer building. We paid extra for an upgrade from "Clasic" to "Superior". Not sure what we get, but there was nothing superior about our room. Bathroom was terrible with rust everywhere, dirty towels and someone's hairs. The size of the room was fine. The location of the hotel was very nice. Wifi didn't work at all. I went to the reception, the lady told me it will be repaired tomorrow and let me know. She didn't so I had to buy an UK sim card. "

"Room climate control kept returning to 19 deg C despite attempts to up temperature to 22 deg C. I woke up with a migraine and could not partake of either the spa or buffet breakfast which was included in my stay so cannot comment on these aspects of the hotel facilities."

"Just a great place to relax eat, run in the gym, have a spa relaxing to ease those stresses in the body. The breakfast is absolutely fantastic. But please try the top notch dinner served in the cedar restaurant its just divine snd worth every penny. The staff were absolutely helpful, happy and just want make your stay peaceful and wonderful and relaxing. Im comming back in the next opportunity.."

"We have just checked out from our 2 night stay. It has been an amazing experience with our 2 young children. Facilities and room were excellent. Kids enjoyed the pool and driving Range. The food was excellent at the restaurant. We had Dinner and BreaKfast for the 2 days and both days was good. However i think front Desk staff need some extra training. At 3 different times with different staff we were given wrong information. They cluless about the facilities and its timings etc. one day we were booked and told to go to Bar for our Dinner even after I mentioned we had dinner at the restaurant behind last night, the lady was so sure and told us to go to bar at the allocated time only to be told to go back to the restaurant by the Bar staff. When asked about children’s swimming times and information no clue when asked about driving range no clue and was told to go to the outer building and ask them. Apart from that i would definitely recommend and would return again. "

"The hotel is in the middle of Leicester and does NOT have the parking they claim to have so nowhere to park. Room handles and floor were sticky and bathroom had no heating so was like an ice box. As an experienced traveller I always request a quiet room and I was on the first floor at the back of the hotel. Traffic and general noise was high and the noisiest bin men in the Country crashed around at 600am having loud conversations with hotel staff. This is the 15th hotel I have stayed in this year and the only one I have left a negative review. "
