"Beautiful hotel, lovely overnight Summer stay. Room was absolutely gorgeous.. Huge with big bathroom and huge bathtub. Gardens are stunning, a lovely place for a wedding I would say. Great staff and lots of them around, especially at dinner time. Quick and efficient. Located just outside the town but on a hill with stunning country views. Some building work happening at present but I can see the need for extra rooms as it is a stunning location for weddings.. It didn't disrupt our stay. We will be back to stay again. Lovely hotel. "

"My wife and I stayed at the Clonakilty Park Hotel for 3 nights in early June. The room was very clean and bed was comfortable. The staff were very friendly and accomodating. Food in the restaurant and pub excellent Overall great facilities on site. Good location. Hard to believe it only has a 3 star rating!! "

"The house is perfect for what we wanted. Looking for a place to relax and unwind, with some interesting things close by to do when wanted, but a good place to simple be peaceful and to relax. We did all we intended. Clonakilty is a great town. Grocery store nearby was perfect for all our needs. House had all the kitchen stuff necessary to make meals and feel at home. "

This castle really immerses you in the history of the location. I picked this location for the amazing views and the unique experience. If you want history and beauty this is your place. If you want 5 star hotel with fancy accommodations this is not your place. But it definitely got 5 stars from me."
