Fantastic location, everything was in short walking distance, including train and coach stations, the arena and lots of shops, restaurants and cafes in the immediate area. The room had a really comfortable king size bed with blackout blinds for a great night sleep. Tea/coffee making facilities, great shower, clean and modern. Lovely staff, will definitely return for our next trip to Manchester!
AVOID this hotel! Motel One the Royal Exchange Hotel is one of the worst hotels I've ever stayed at. Don't waste your money. If you like peace and quiet, a good clean and hygienic room and also fresh air in your room, and a good night's rest. Avoid this hotel. If you hate wasting money, avoid this hotel. I have read other reviews and there's a mixture of good and bad reviews but unless you want to risk wasting your money, just choose a different hotel. There are a lot of better hotels in the area for cheaper price and better quality.
Modern, new, clean. In the middle of city centre and can go anywhere on foot. A supermarket is just in opposite side of the street. Tiny downside was no spoon as they used paper cups and wooden muddlers only.
