"Hotel is very nice, the public areas are really comfortable. The coffee shop and lady working in there was excellent- she was rushed off her feet but was really friendly and efficient. All the staff I met are to be commended for their friendly attitude and professionalism. The car park is large and easy to get in and out. The room, bed, pillows were very clean and in my opinion extremely comfortable. The Breakfast was great 😊. I really enjoyed the one night I stayed and hope to stay again."

"Friendly staff at the bar checked us in and showed us to our room. We were visiting a friend in the area and we all had dinner which was lovely. A great choice on the menu and several specials tempted us and the waiting staff were very friendly and professional. The atmosphere was warm and comfortable - and seasonal, Hallowe’en. Our room was very comfortable and spacious and our Yorkshire breakfast was delicious. Despite having lived in the area years ago this was our first visit to the George and I hope we’ll be back before long, it exceeded our expectations."
