"The bed was comfortable, and the room was clean. The bathroom was very small, though, and the refrigerator smelled. Parking was easy, and the staff was helpful! The breakfast was good and convenient."

"Our stay was wonderful!!Maria (the owner) was very responsive to our needs and questions. Let me begin by saying that the pictures do the property little justice. This place is a hidden gem!!It is at end of road and very private. It is near downtown and approximately 15 minutes to nearby McCaysville and 10 minutes to Bear Claw vineyard. The place is a not modern but tastefully decorated with comfy furnishings and beds. Well kept, clean and plenty of space for everyone to find a quiet and relaxing spot. Our favorite is the swing on the porch and the Creekside fire-pit (don’t forget your S’morse supplies. Stressless & mesmerizing creek! Our family will be back for sure as we would like to be here in springtime or summer. Thank you for opening this special place to families like ours!"

"The property was clean, well kept and comfortable for our family. The hosts thought of everything and had everything we needed from sound machines in the bedrooms, shampoo and body wash in the showers, lots of blankets in the living room and so many kitchen appliances and gadgets. The game room was also well stocked with board games, puzzles and books in addition to the pool table, shuffle board and arcade games. The host was very responsive and made the check-in/check-out process very easy. The property is also an easy 10 minutes drive into downtown Blue Ridge. We were very happy with our stay and would definitely visit again!"

"We love the cabin very much, it was clean. A very peaceful stay with our special need son. We were thrilled to watch deers drink water down the creek and humming birds visit to station. We had fun playing pool and games in the basement. I will go back there again, also highly recommend others to visit this place."

"Wonderful cabin & amenities. It was just my husband & I but thus place would be amazing for a larger family as there is ample room & things to do on the property. Very close to downtown Blue Ridge. Some really great resturants in town now. Tiffany was a wonderful hostess. Very enjoyable stay for the weekend!"

"The Hummingbird absolutely hit the mark! Beautiful, comfortable, spacious, and thoughtfully decorated—this cabin was everything we hoped for and more. From the moment we arrived, we felt like we could truly settle in, relax, and enjoy the experience. Our guests were blown away by how beautiful the cabin was, and everyone had plenty of space to feel comfortable.We especially loved the outdoor spaces. My husband got to practice his putts, while I enjoyed some much-needed quiet relaxation. I brought my projector, and watching football on the porch turned out to be one of the highlights of the weekend! And there was something special about starting the morning on the porch swing with a cup of coffee and a good book. Pure relaxation.The host was responsive, engaging, and made us feel well taken care of. A special shout-out to Chris, who quickly addressed a couple of real-time needs during our stay. That level of responsiveness and hospitality really makes a difference.This cabin gave us the perfect combination of comfort, fun, beautiful surroundings, and peaceful moments. We genuinely did not want to leave.We will absolutely return to the Hummingbird and next time, we may just have to stay a little longer!"
