The street was tore up in front while we were there so we had to park in the parking garage a block away and carry our bags (not the hotel's fault). "Parking ramp was a little hard to get in and out of with a big rental car, but stay was good. Location was awesome - near St. Johns castle, bars and restaurants. Nice size rooms - clean & comfortable"
"Hugely disappointed with choice. Apartment was freezing when we arrived at 5pm. We had to pay more than stated for heating/electricity for one night! Apartment wasn't cleaned properly. The TV didn't work - there was a big crack in the screen which meant only a quarter of the screen was visible, toilet ..."

The restaurant staff were very friendly and the service was excellent.
Luke, the Duty Manager, resolved the only minor problem we had to our complete satisfaction.
All in all, it was an enjoyable experience and I’d recommend the hotel to anyone visiting Limerick - especially by car - as the hotel is located at the edge of the town nearest the M7 and we never failed to get a parking bay in the underground car park. "

"Hotel is located in the shopping/dining district in Limerick. The street was tore up in front while we were there so we had to park in the parking garage a block away and carry our bags (not the hotel's fault). Hotel was very nice with a clean and comfortable room. The will vouch your parking ticket at two of the garages so it's half price. Ate at the in-house restaurant. Very good and prices were reasonable."
A verified traveller from Norfolk stayed at The George Limerick Hotel
"The hotel itself was very nice and comfortable with good dining choices. It was close to downtown Limerick and buses. The staff was very helpful with busing choices, which was great! The immediate area, however, felt unsafe. Not a lot of people around and empty buildings."
A verified traveller stayed at Clayton Hotel Limerick
"We had to haul our luggage up the stairs. The lift only went to first floor. Our sheets were not changed in 5 days. We had to ask for toilet paper, towels and to get clean cups and glasses. The hotel is close to shops and has a good restaurant downstairs. Staff was very nice and helpful."

"The staff was great! We showed up 30 minutes before the kitchen closed for the night and they got nice hot meals for all 5 of us. The kids enjoyed having their own separate beds. The breakfast was wonderful and very relaxing. We had a nice walk around the neighborhood in the morning and enjoyed the beautiful weather!"
