"If you want to get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, this is the perfect place! We had a relaxing and luxurious break at the Congrove Barns for our honeymoon. The property is cosy, stylish and well stocked with kitchen equipment. The beds are incredibly comfortable (& huge!) and the living space is relaxing and comfortable. The hot tub is also a great treat, along with the large bath in the master bathroom. Overall, a truly idyllic spot for a getaway."

There is a lovely place to sit outside with amazing views. Hay-on-Wye is literally an 8 minute drive away and lives up to its name of a bookish town. There are some great walks and lots of activities nearby and a visit to ye older ferrie inn is a must. "We spent a wonderful 2 night stay here. Paul and Judy and their 3 dogs are lovely and made us feel so welcome and comfortable. The shepherd hut is great with lots of character. You are left a large supply of free logs for the fire which makes the place feel so cosy, told if you run out to just leave the basket outside and it will be filled up again for you. There are shops locally but we took what we needed for our stay so we could get away from everything. We ditched the car and walked everywhere.
