"Set in a quiet area and an easy short walk into town. Nice pool but very few sun loungers and not very much shade. Good continental breakfast which can be taken on the outside terrace if you want to. Diana and Elisabeth on the front desk are very helpful indeed. A pleasant stay for a few days whilst exploring the area."

Beautiful Italian city, everything you need. And very accessible to all of Tuscany without having to fight the crowds/traffic of the bigger, less accessible cities.

Not the most interesting f places, the main Spa was closed both times we went to look at it. The walk of fame discs have lots of interesting names on them. A couple of nice restaurants locally, the best one literally around the corner from this hotel
"Its a lovely hotel. Only hotel that gave me complimentary water. Breakfast buffet was fabulous. Staff attended to me promptly. Rooms are neat and big and the ambience is very welcoming. Only issue is the distance. Its located along the highway on the outskirts of town. I cant say its worth the distance (1hr 30mins from town) but its a lovely hotel"
"Met by Sonia in reception who was just so very helpful. Hotel provided us with bikes to explore the town. Such fun. Then Ricardo helped us get tickets to the Puccini concert in the San Giovanni. We loved Lucca and it was in no small part owing to the lovely people we met in the hotel and in the city.

"We were just looking for a way to get away from the inner city, Rome, Florence, etc. this is the nicest place in the north we had stayed with the most hospitality in the north definitely recommended stay in the countryside of Tuscany here rather than in Florence Rome, we love it so much.
