"A 4 star level 3 star hotel. Basic accommodations, so if you require spa services and pampering move on. But for a decent place to sleep, excellent breakfast in a bright space, professional 24/7 staff, ok basic dinner options, and if priced lower than the fancy places, I definitely recommend staying here. There is a lovely walking path, about a mile and a half, to a train station that takes you right into Neufchâtel. Water in the room? Yes via the tap into paper cups. Soundproof? Forget it....

The only complaint is there is no air conditioning in the rooms. On hot days, or even warm days, the rooms are overly warm and the only option is to wait until nightfall and open the patio door - which is a better option if you are not on the ground floor. The breakfast was OK and the views nice but the service was neither welcoming nor hospitable. The room is large and comfortable, although it could use some update in the furniture. Also tv was not working during our stay. "A really lovely stay with superb service and delightful food. Hotel is full of character but the rooms are rather dated. Will definitely be returning with friends next year a lovely experience and hopefully overtime, money will be spent on the interior. The food is superb. The scenery is unparalleled."
