"We really enjoyed staying at Freehand in DTLA. It’s located in a historic building so the rooms have an old school vibe to them. We stayed in a corner room and it was so spacious with beautiful, massive windows (I’m a natural light girlie). We did have a small hiccup where our room was very cold and the heater was not working very well - we communicated that to them and they were kind enough to switch us to another room. Bathrooms were very clean and were stocked up accordingly. I’d def stay here again. "

"Edith at the front desk was fantastic! I had messed up dates when booking, and she very graciously went out of the way and adjusted them so I did not have any extra payment. She is a real gem♥️. The hotel is clean, staff are friendly and helpful and the restaurant view is simply outstanding. Everything else aside, Edith is the reason we will stay here every time. Highly recommended!!! "

"The room was spotless. ALL staff were friendly and helpful. The room rate was great. NO SMOKE SMELL in the Casino. The diner's food was a good value and tasty. The service for our meals was fantastic with generous portions. We definitely recommend staying at this location. "
