"Room was clean, lift didn’t get swept in the 5 nights I was there and had a lot of dried mud in it. I extended by a couple of nights because my friends were still there and reception man wasn’t very helpful. Had to do it online, even though I would have had an alumni discount if I did it at the desk. The map is entirely unhelpful for the parking if you don’t know your way around campus. They could do with adding more details to it to help people. I bumped into someone lost in the dark in the middle of campus trying to find their way back after parking their car. Building work is a little noisy in the forward facing rooms."

"Near to the station (& the High Street is almost on your doorstep). Great town & hotel is in easy reach of various attractions (maybe a lick of paint in the room wouldn’t hurt, but beds comfy). We went to a day festival at Vivary Park, which is a 15-20 min walk. It did rain, but everything dried out in our room overnight (Room 40 is above the Boiler Room). We used a fan & opened window. Staff kindly stored our luggage, when we went to lunch before catching a train home. They don’t do food, but loads of places nearby. Plus the staff are lovely & so helpful."

"Wonderful property, enjoyable stay overall. Only frustrations were with not getting the set menu or 20% discount at dinner which was only realised after leaving. Breakfast service needs improving as the tea/coffee station was a drag and menus having pricing was confusing. Booked this hotel so I could get a quiet night of sleep in however our room had the ventilation unit outside the window so didn't get the silence I was excited for. Absolutely recommend the hotel as these issues were just a small inconvenience and most of the staff were incredibly professional and welcoming."

"The hotel was in a good place, not too far from the town centre and also easy to get back onto the M5. It was also good having the free car park with ample spaces. The staff were helpful. The only downfall the mattresses are very soft and when there are 2 of you in bed you both end up rolling into the middle together. The walls are quite thin and we could hear someone in the next room plugging something in and unplugging it again."
