"Stayed in early November 2025. Everyone at property was professional and friendly. The stand out staff member was Greta at front desk. She took the time to answer all of our questions, recommended restaurants, booked our visit to the Colosseum and went over a city map with us to make sure we didn’t miss anything. Greta was truly amazing. The rooms were clean and well maintained. Would stay again with no hesitation. Short walk to Metro (to Vatican), Spanish Steps and Piazza del Popolo (tour bus to Pompeii). Reasonably priced and being well located was a big part of our memorable and pleasant vacation."
"We had an amazing stay at the River Palace Hotel! The location was excellent easily accessing all the main Roman sightseeing areas! We walked, ate, and enjoyed the well lit city during the Christmas holidays. The hotel provided an excellent daily breakfast, beautiful accommodations, an amazing Christmas theme, and professional and friendly staff. We recommend this hotel without reservation!!!"
"Our stay in Relais Donna Lucrezia was lovely. The rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable. We all had a lovely sleep with a great breakfast every morning. The staff were all lovely and very accommodating."
"If room floor between bedroom and kitchen does not have up/down steps, that stay could be perfect. Multiple people from my group tripped. It could be a danger for falling or twisting ankle then ruin your trip. Several motion or sound activated the floor lights was installed around the area, which helps a bit but the light could turn on when you move in the bed unexpectedly, not good for light sleepers too. Hope they fix the ditch and make the floor even and flat. It is a very weird design and made a simple thing more complicated and cause problem."
"My son & I had a wonderful stay at Marcella. The hotel is beautiful with old world Italian charm. The room was quite nice & clean & the bed was comfortable. The toiletries in the bathroom were also wonderful! The staff at Marcella was always attentive to our needs & upon arrival, the gentleman working the reception desk recommended a casual restaurant right around the corner, where we enjoyed a delicious pasta dinner with exceptional service. I definitely recommend staying at Marcella if you want to be within a few miles of all of Romes attractions. "
"Centrally located and within walking distance to Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain, Colosseum, etc. Very close to subway, making travel to Vatican City super easy as well. Room was clean and comfortable. Staff was pleasant and helpful. "
