"We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! It’s conveniently located just a 10-minute walk from the Shinkansen station and is centrally located near many popular attractions, making it easy to explore the area. The air conditioning worked perfectly — a big plus after a warm day of sightseeing! The staff were incredibly kind and helpful, and like everywhere in Japan, the customer service was top notch. We were also able to drop off our luggage early, and the process was smooth and easy to arrange. Overall, a great experience and highly recommended for anyone visiting the area!"

"I enjoyed my stay at JR WEST GROUP VIA INN PRIME KYOTOEKI HACHIJOGUCHI. It's located within a 5-minute from Kyoto Station and has a 7-Eleven which is linked to the main lobby. The main challenge is finding your way out of Kyoto Station which is huge and confusing but no fault of the hotel! :) The room was a good size (not big but comfortable) and had a writing desk which made it easy for me to do my work and have my takeout meals. At the ground floor lift lobby, there's a sort of "buffet table" of daily consumables such as toothbrushes and shavers. The staff were friendly. Checking in and out was easily done at the automated kiosks. I loved the surroundings of the hotel. The area it was located in was safe, clean and quiet. It was easy to walk to the Keihan bus terminal at Avanti Building so that I could buy tickets for and board the airport limousine bus to Kansai International Airport. I would absolutely choose to stay in this hotel again if I were visit Kyoto again."

"Everything is a bit small, (toilet and bath together and no room to change) only 2 beds are on in room. Jo complaining. Walk distances to Kyoto station. Dinner and breakfast are including that I didn’t know. Good to go back sleep and travel to use. "

"I didn't realise this was a love hotel before booking, and probably wouldn't have booked it if we'd known. What a mistake that would have been apart from the talking point back home. I'm sure there are some seedy ones, but love hotels are quite common in Japan for those that live with parents etc. There was nothing seedy that we saw in the 6 days we were there. The room was enormous, the bed was enormous, the bathroom was enormous and the double jacuzzi bath was amazing. The decor was a bit tired in places and the breakfasts (both Japanese style and Western) were not the best but edible. We had a fridge, massage chair, massive TV, projector and screen, sofa, eating area, and it's up to you if you want to use the vibrator or something from the vending machine. I would quite happily stay here again and recommend it to anybody who's open-minded. We also had free and ample parking and about a 10/15-minute walk to the local train station. Multiple convenience stores around and albeit not too many restaurants, there were many on the walk to the train station."

"Staff: very helpful and friendly Rooms: Huge!! we had the family room, the rooms was more than enough and very comfortable. we had kitchen, dining area, large bathroom and beds that are comfortable. All the facility in this hotel are new and nice! love the seating area at the roof top. there is laundry downstairs, money changer at the lobby. Transportation: very near to the bus stops, 5 mins walk to the bus station. The nearest train station is about 1km away which is not bad. "
