Herdwick Shepherds Hut on Dartmoor

This brand new Shepherds Hut is set in the heart of the Dartmoor national park, surrounded by beautiful Dartmoor valleys and rolling hills. It is spacious, benefiting from a new log burner for cosy evenings, a small kitchen area, table and chairs and a sheepskin bench. The hut has its own bathroom with a toilet shower and basin. Outside, there is parking and a lawn area, fire pit and BBQ with picnic table. The hut is situated on a Small shepherds hut campsite in a beautiful moorland valley.

The perfect couple retreat

Have an amazing couple of nights here, making the most out of the campfire/bbq both nights! Easy to get some logs too! Nothing better than waking up to hear the birds and see the squirrels on our decking!

Cosy shepherd’s hut in beautiful setting!

We had a lovely two night stay in Herdwick Hut. It was clean and cosy, and Libby was a great host, very communicative and lit the fire for our late arrival - thank you!
