"PROS The hotel’s location was excellent. A quiet neighborhood close to transportation, shops, restaurants and situated on one of the loveliest canals in the city. The staff were all friendly and helpful and went out of their way to take care of us. The room was tastefully decorated, the bed very comfortable, loved the windowed balcony and very much appreciated having coffee/tea and refrigerator provided. "We had a fabulous stay at Hotel Jakarta. We received communication from the hotel prior to check-in to ensure we had everything we needed for our stay. The room was spacious, nicely decorated and comfortable. Being out of the city centre meant there was less noise and crowds making it a quiet stay. We dined at the restaurant for dinner and not only was there a good choice of food, it was also delicious and well priced. Breakfast provided a good range of options as well. Subway station is only 5' walk and have three lines of subway 51, 53 and 54, less than 10' to get to the central station. We will come back to this hotel for our future trip to Amsterdam."
