"this hotel has an excellent location, only about two blocks from the High St., Kensington tube station with plenty of restaurants and shopping within a short walk. It is also very close to Hyde Park and Kensington Palace. The only thing I would recommend is if the hotel add more outlets since everyone needs to charge their phones and tablets. I would recommend a multi outlet on the nightstand that separates the two beds. Other than that, I would highly recommend this hotel."

STG Hotel London Oxford Street

"This is a budget priced hotel just steps from Oxford Street and Tottenham Court Rd tube station. Check in was 3pm but my daughter and I arrived round 1pm and for £20 were able to avail of early check in and get into our room. Check in was fast and automated with a staff member on hand who printed our key cards for us. Room was on the small side but perfect for what we needed as we were really only in it to sleep in it. Basic but clean, great dressing table/mirror area, TV, hairdryer and safe. The room had good AC which was great as it was very warm during our visit. Bathroom again was small but clean and perfectly adequate for our needs. Our only niggle was how long to get and to use the lifts, they are very busy and often stop at nearly every floor, we were on floor 10 so if you are pressed for time allow an extra 10 mins to get one and get down to reception. Any staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. All in all for the price this is a great, centrally located, excellent option for a basic budget stay in London, however if you want extras like toiletries and tea/coffee making facilities then other hotels which will cost more are available and may be more suitable for you. We were very happy with our stay and will use STG again."
