"We had a wonderful weeks stay at the cottage, had everything we could need and it honestly felt very homely and perfect to come back to after a day of exploring the local area, where it is perfectly placed to do so. The hot tub was marvellous and always ready to dip into. Thank you for our stay and we will hope to be back in the future."

"This was our third visit to Spa Cottages. It is a great base for exploring the Lake District. Parking can be a bit tight, but for the majority of the time we were able to park directly outside the property."

"Accommodation clean and tidy. Keys a little hard to find at the beginning for entry as there are many 'front porches'. In a nice area with mountain views and easy access to Whinlatter and Keswick and surrounding area."

"The view of the mountains is stunning. The house is comfortable with plenty of space. It is well equipped with a delightful garden. Portinscale is a lovely setting with a very nice cafe and pub."
