"We loved everything about the Gainsborough, the staff were very helpful, the Spa was brilliant, the room was clean and today, also the maid was very polite and helpful.
We were also upgraded to the Gainsborough suite as we mentioned it was our 25th anniversary so this was a plenty surprise, the hotel went above and beyond as they laid on a complementary fridge of drinks, a bottle of wine and a big box of Bath cheeses.
Truly wonderful stay - thank you we come again."

Breakfast needs a tiny bit of improvement as I also work in a hotel I was excepting a bit more food for the English breakfast but not much was there for it the other things like continentals were more available, Staff are really good and I would recommend this hotels others "

"Good breakfast. Room was clean. Parking at the hotel was busy but we found a space eventually, which cost about £17.50 for 24 hours. We ended up arriving a lot earlier than our check in time, but we were able to pay for parking in reception before checking in which was helpful. Good location as it's not too far to walk into the city centre (about 20 minutes) and the river is also nearby for a nice walk with coffee shops."

"What a beautiful quirky hotel. The rooms were minimal clean and fresh had everything needed. Bar was lovely but new staff were left to do the cocktails alone , didn’t have half the alcohol needed for them. The new staff member was left apologising to me 3 times and I was left 20 minutes waiting not so good fo me or new team member.
Breakfast had everything including alternative so great for everyone.
Lifts make sure you tap your room key inside then floor.
Will definitely stay again great stay."
