"Everything about this stay was perfect. Patricia's communication is excellent and very welcoming, and the property itself is outstanding; it has everything you need for a very comfortable and relaxing stay. The wildlife is fabulous to watch, there are views down to Faro and the sea, and you can be in the village (Estoi) in a few minutes. Faro, Olhao and Tavira are all worth visiting and only a short drive away, then its back to the quiet in Bemposta.This was our 2nd visit and we will return again."

"A very spacious and stunning villa! Located in a lovely remote spot not far from Faro. The villa is extremely well equipped with everything you will need including a 12m swimming pool! A very highly recommended villa to stay at and we will definitely consider another visit there in the future."

"If you’re thinking of booking the Villa, don’t think just book it, you won’t regret it. The Villa its self is very well equipped in every way possible. The gardens & pool area are beautiful. It’s so peaceful. It is rural so a car is vital but a local restaurant is a 10 min walk away. Thank you Peter & Monika for letting us stay and we hope one day to return. "

"We had a great time at the villa. Good location that was far enough from the busy areas to feel peaceful but close enough to feel easy for food/airport etc. The villa was clean and spacious. The management team was responsive and quick to help us out if needed.Our main critique would be that the downstairs bedroom does not have air conditioning like the upstairs ones - it got extremely hot in there. It would also have been nice to have some umbrellas to create some shade around the pool. Overall a fabulous experience though!"

"We had a wonderful week in mid Sept in this villa. The villa was so well equipped and the pool was immaculate. It was wonderful to be able to enjoy the views of the hills from the veranda, and the luxury of our own very private and big pool in the heat of the day. The villa has everything you could need to self cater, with a good choice of supermarkets and shops in Sao Bras. We liked that although the villa is very luxurious, it also.has a homely feeling, so we felt we could relax.
We loved the little town of Sao Bras de Alportel, it really has everything you could want, with several restaurants a wonderful patisserie on the square and takeaways if you need them. It is not in any way touristy, but has an interesting history and very friendly locals. Worth noting though, most places don't take card and a lot is closed Sat from 1pm till Tuesday morning. There are ATMs in the town though, and it is worth finding the little carpark near the Santander bank which saves a lot of hassle trying to park on the street.
We loved our first visit to Portugal, the villa owners were very good at communication, and helpful. Do ask their advice about hire cars as you will need one. We booked through the airline which was our only mistake. We look forward to coming back in the near future. "
